When it comes to my recent times in Art. I always wanna master two different Art Styles, being K-On (a.k.a. Horiguchi Yukiko style), and Nichijou/CITY. The best start to replicate the art style. I always start with the eyes. So I made this simple tutorial.

I found out about it because of City The Animation, and it’s so good! The author is a genius, he portrayed daily life so well here. I really liked the characters too, especially the Professor 😂. I also loved the OST, opening, and endings. I enjoyed the entire soundtrack, but the one that stuck with me the most was that one called "Poem of Yuuko" 😂, or something like that.

How are her dogs just casually breaking the 4th wall here? Does this imply Midori Nagumo is some superior entity? Is nagumo God? Or, even worse, is it her feet that specifically hold the divine power? If so, Wako has some things to certainly reevaluate. I am absolutely appalled and terrified, yet a bit amused at the same time witnessing this one of a kind panel. Keiichi Arawi has some serious explaining to do and I will now read both CITY and the rest of Nichijou with noticeably more caution than before.

I just finished rewatching Nichijou: My Ordinary Life earlier today. I first watched it back in 2020, and decided to rewatch it after seeing CITY: The Animation earlier this year. I haven't read the manga yet, so I was curious if the main six characters (Mio, Yuuko, Mai, Nano, the Professor, and Sakamoto) act any different in the manga compared to the show. The only difference between the manga and the show that I'm aware of is that Nano always went to school with the other girls and didn't get introduced to them later on.
