NiziU will be active in Korea for the first time in 1 year and 6 months.
According to xportsnews on 21 July, NiziU (members: Mako, Rio, Maya, Riku, Ayaka, Mayuka, Rima, Miihi, and Nina) confirmed that they will make a comeback in Korea in September.
This Korean comeback is a highly anticipated one, as it will be the first time in about one year and six months since their second Korean single album 'LOVE LINE' was released in March 2025. It is said that the members are also focused on preparing for the album as it has been a long time since they were last active in Korea. With the music video shooting coming up soon, preparations for the comeback are about to speed up.
NiziU will be presenting a mini album for the first time in Korea. The group, which previously released two singles in Korea, will expand its activities with a mini album and meet with domestic fans (in Korea).
NiziU is a global girl group produced by JYP Entertainment and debuted in Japan in December 2020. After that, in October 2023, they officially debuted in the Korean market with the title song 'HEARTRIS' of their first single album 'Press Play'. At that time, Park Jin-young wrote the lyrics of 'HEARTRIS', and Felix of Stray Kids made a special appearance in the music video. The group left a strong impression on K-pop fans by winning first place on a music show within nine days of their Korean debut.
NiziU still enjoys immense popularity in Japan, proving their status as a top Japanese girl group with their first compilation album 'Portfolio', released on 1 July, ranking first on the Oricon Daily Album Chart, and by holding a second dome tour at Kyocera Dome Osaka and Tokyo Dome in June.
