Basically the title, I’ve bought from euro-nootropics but I’ve seen a couple bad posts about them and honestly their rgpu-95 didn’t seem to do jack shit.
Thanks in advance

I've seen a couple of these posts in here, so I just wanted to add to the pile. I've been trying to contact Modawhale for the past 2 weeks with no answer. I've tried their website, Telegram and Reddit - nothing ( I even see that they read my Telegram messages...). I can only conclude this now officially a scam site - stay as far away as possible!!!

I’ve battled addiction all my life I’ve cut almost all habits cold turkey but one that has a hold of my dopamine and can’t break is nicotine, I hear 9-ME-BC is great to resort dopamine levels back but I just want to know if there is something out there that can help me get off it, I take NaC but it helps me reduce the amount I abuse in a day but idk it becoming a problem and it’s been years and I know my dopamine is fried

For the longest time I thought I needed more stimulation to focus. Coffee in the morning, another one when I started fading, sometimes another later if I had a lot to get done.
Eventually I realized I wasn’t really getting more productive. I’d feel locked in for a little while, then get restless and start jumping between things. By afternoon I usually felt completely drained.
A few weeks ago I started cutting back. The first few days sucked, but after adjusting I noticed something weird: my energy feels a lot more consistent and sitting down to work actually feels easier.
I still drink coffee, just way less than before. I’m starting to wonder how much of my “bad focus” was actually me constantly trying to fix tiredness with more caffeine.
Anyone else find that less stimulation ended up helping them more than adding another nootropic?

As the title says. The central nervous system is very complex and can rely on cascades of neurons and rely on multiple signals reaching a single nerve cell.
A neuron can send excitatory or inhibitory sygnals to another neuron.
Exciting an inhibitory neuron will result in more inhibition.
Exciting an excitatory neuron will result in more excitation.
Inhibiting an inhibitory neuron will result in less inhibition.
Inhibiting an excitatory neuron will result in less excitation.
People have also various types of neurons and synapses present in varying proportions and with varying characteristics. This partially explains why different people can have completely different reactions to the same excitatory/inhibitory substances. Glycine might make some people nervous because it inhibits inhibitory signals. Caffeine might make some people sleepy because it excites inhibitory neurons. These reactions are rare at the level of a population, but they are not unheard of.

Due to a denial from health insurance, I was suddenly unable to get an SNRI which had been helping me for 7 months or so. I was on a smaller dose anyway, so I didn't think having to stop it would have this big of an effect, but it certainly was a quick drop off for mood. I went from doing pretty well to being really depressed, irritable, and a couple anxious days thrown in there as well. While the insurance stuff gets sorted out (which could take weeks, if it hopefully resolves), is there anything I can substitute in the meantime for a mood lift?It doesn't take much of a chemical change to throw everything into chaos, I suppose!
I don't like to try balancing things like serotonin on my own, but I do have Saffron supplements on hand. Saffron is serotonergic, I'm pretty sure, but it's also one of those things that takes weeks of consistency to build up. Still, I've been taking an SNRI for 7 months, so maybe saffron could sort of pick up where the SNRI left off? I'm not too optimistic about that, but I don't know what else to try. I also have bromantane, but it's a year old and it never seemed to help me in the first place (which is why I stopped using it). I'm just looking for some patchwork to try and save my mood a little until I can get my medication again. I haven't been eating much, but I've been exercising. Mood has definitely not been good, though, and the brain fog is pretty crazy, too, so I feel I should be proactive instead of trying to ride it out.

That's really the post. I was hoping someone could recommend a 'stack' that worked for you. Every morning going to work feels like stepping into hell. And it's not "find another job", it's just more like "god I really dont want to do this." I've noticed I'm more motivated when I have plenty of energy drinks (horrible for my health) and get a good nights rest. But ultimately what I want is motivation and happiness at work. Is there anything that exists that basically says "you're not at work, you're on a blissful experience of life" lmao
I know I'm being ridiculous. But there must be something I can take. I've been reading more and more about microdosing and things associated with that, the benefits like clarity and energy.
And yes I know there is the research index tab. I've scrolled through that and read quite a bit of it. It's just hard to connect things together and say okay, that would be ideal.
Has anyone else been in this situation, and what works for you?

I'm not talking about the acute effects, but the day after. I wake up feeling a reduction in depressive moods, better focus, less distracting anxiety, and better mental flexibility. I noted it during class.
Everyone on my father's side of the family is an alcoholist too, so I wonder what it has to do with it.

Does anyone experience reflux like or Gerd like stomach sensitivity or at least the same kind of gastritis like pain from drinking Bacopa monnieri? It does not cause me a runny tummy thankfully. It helps me so much with focus but goodness, this feeling is achy and annoying much like how it feels after taking painkillers and the stomach is irritated.

Recently this paper,https://doi.org/10.1038/s41380-025-03209-4, came out showing that a non psychedelic and non dissociative compound PA-915 caused rapid acting antidepressant and anxiolytic effects that lasted two months. That’s pretty fucking cool to me. I wanted to try it out, but since there’s no human testing or even rodent toxicity testing, I’m not touching it even with a ten foot pole. However, with searching I found that there is a similar compound used in traditional chinese medicine that acts on the same receptor and causes rapid acting antidepressant effects.[1–4,18,19] I of course tried that plant, Gardenia Jasminoides, and can confirm that it has long lasting anxiolytic effects (up to 3 weeks now). (It should also prevent/get rid of some people's migraines too, but I didn't talk about that in this post)
Mechanistically, both PA-915 and genipin/geniposide act on the PAC1 receptor.[1,2,5,6,21] This is a receptor typically activated by the 38 amino-acid peptide PACAP, causing Gs, Gq, and Beta-arrestin signalling.[9–11] The Gs and Gq signalling seem to be linked to fear and stress responses,[14,22] while the beta-arrestin pathway is linked to rapid neurotrophic effects–neurite and synapse outgrowth.[12–14] Moreover, both of these compounds seem to act as agonists of beta-arrestin pathways, and antagonists of the Gs and Gq pathways.[1,2,12,15] This means rapid neuroplasticity, and an inhibition of the fear systems in the brain.[7,10] Interestingly, PAC1 directly mediates the neuroplastic effects of ketamine; this receptor has also been shown to form dimers with 5HT2A and mediate receptor internalization.[8] I have more to say, but I don’t want to make this post too long.
My experience: I drank 15g of tea steeped in 100 degree C water for 10 minutes. (Boiling the compounds may cause toxic byproducts)
30 minutes a sharper focus starts rolling in. Feels similar to acetylcholinesterase inhibitors (Genipin is also an ACHei)
60 minutes a wave of contentment rolls in. Very pleasant. Background anxiety washes away. Is not euphoric, just content Busy thoughts tend to subside 90 minutes: The focus effects get a bit sharper and more pronounced
120 minutes: The focus effects subsides. The broad contentment is much more prominent 120 minutes -
300 minutes: Background anxiety is much lower. Social anxiety is a tenth of what it used to be. Fear, like if a car is about to hit me remains, but ambient fear is almost gone. The world is very peaceful. The desire for addictive behaviors like scroll on reddit or mindless use my phone go away. I could (and have) meditated for hours unbothered by impulses.
300 minutes to two weeks: Slowly the acute mindfulness, contentment, and anti-addictive effects go to a third of what they normally are, and there they remain. The next day, they are still at a third . Two days later, they are still at a third Even two weeks later (longest break I’ve trialed), they’re still at a third . These compounds are some of the most profound I’ve ever tried. They have made life unbelievably more content. The dramatic reduction in social anxiety has made me a much more confident and outgoing person.
Structure, Toxicity, & Safer Alternatives:
Iridoids are built off of a cyclopentanopyran skeleton and many feature a hemiacetal, which is typically glycosidic.[16,17,20] Unfortunately for us this hemiacetal can react with multiple amines, causing protein crosslinking.[23] Functionally, this iridoid was evolved to prevent insects from eating plants by crosslinking and disabling the proteins found in the digestive track of insects, possibly killing the insect.[24] Humans seem to be somewhat tolerant to these iridoidal effects; however, it seems that large doses or chronic consumption causes liver toxicity through crosslinking.[25–27] Prolonged multi-month exposure also seems to be associated with digestive track hardening and calcification and blue skin, likely through a cross-linking based mechanism.[28,29]
It is unclear if the hemiacetal is necessary for the PAC1 mediated effects of iridoids. If it isn’t, related iridoid-lactone compounds like nepetalactone found in Catnip may produce similar effects without causing liver toxicity.[30,31] Certain lactams, like Gardenamide A, have also been found in iridoid containing plants.[32] Functionally, the amide should prevent crosslinking and this compound has been shown to show neuroprotectivity and this some evidence of neuroplastic effects.[33–37] If a vendor starts selling irioids, I strongly recommend selling a lactam or lactone version incapable of crosslinking; Gardenamide A, starting from Genipin would be my choice of compound. A hydroxymethyl or acetyl group would likely work as well (I have more thoughts on this, reach out if you want).
Most TCM literature cites 10-15g a day max daily dose, but as stated before long-term exposure is still definitely toxic. Also, no culture eats these berries for everyday. I wouldn't touch it for more than 2 weeks at a time, and then I'd take a month off. This is probably VERY cautious; there was a study that gave it to elderly women at 10g a day for a month to lose weight (it's also a glp1 agonist). They didn't report side effects, but they (probably) didn't die.[38] And as another safety note, the fruit contain a decent amount of crocetin, which is a weak MAOI, so be careful if you're taking SSRIs, TCAs, MAOIs.
If you try this stuff for a few days, make a post or comment. I'm curious about other peoples' experiences

Hey, I suffer from ADHD & general anxiety. I tried Ritalin & Adderal, and they work well but It's basically like taking a loan with really bad interest. For every day I take 5mg adderal / 10mg ritalin, i pay back with a nasty crash that makes me depressed, foggy & tired.
It's insane that this is the mainstream answer to ADHD..
Anyways i just tried 5 days of 50mg Bromantane, and it's fucking insane. ADHD gone, best focus i ever had, anxiety gone - not a trace. Sleep good, tons of energy & motivation. i just took 2 days off and noticed 0 side affects / withdrawls. Best thing is that I don't feel drugged and stimulated like I do on Adderal, it's just so clean.
Now ofc my mind is like "too good to be true". I really hope these affects don't go away fast like they do on adderal. So i'm trying to get some references for long-term protocols and synergies with other supps that can perhaps aid in reducing tolerance build up. A bio hacker from X says he takes L-tyrozine with it, quote; "when taking bromantane, i'll also be supplementing 2-3 grams of l-tyrosine to make sure there's enough substrate for the increased dopamine production." thoughts?
Older posts on reddit say to take it with NAC. Any input is appreciated, thank you

Curious if anyone's had a nootropic trigger a genuinely forgotten memories — like the whole scenes comes back, mood and atmosphere and all, not just a picture in your head. The kind where you're not just remembering that something happened, but you're almost back there for a second — sounds, smells, all of it. Curious if smells came into it too, like a scent from that time/place popping back up along with everything else.
What compound did it for you, what dose, and was it gradual over weeks or more?

I’ve had it quite a few times before and tend to feel groggy next day but that’s about it.
I had 1500mg yesterday and would like same about today as have a lot of social etc to get through?
Thanks

In two weeks I will go to school and before school I want to have a Iq,Memory and focus stack.
I want to try Semax and Modafinil and just want to have an opinion from someone that could help me better on these two and more.
I also heard L-Theanine is good (wich I have at home). I also used Citicolin wich I didn’t feel.
I also heard that Alpha Gpc is just overrated and don’t do anything/much as other Nootropics.
So a stack I heard was:
Tak-653
Bromantane
Gb-115
Carnosic Acid
Any opinions of this stack?

Is it a coincidence or has this happened with anyone else? All of my nootropics are from nootrpicsdepot.com. I'm taking Tribugen, Sabroxy, white jelly mushroom extract, astragaloside, vignatex, and berbelean. I've been taking Sabroxy, tribugen, and vignatex for over a week. The others I just started 2 days ago. I was taking black maca, but stopped and decided to sell it to a friend.

The best way to describe my executive dysfunction is that there is a brick wall placed in my head, and this brick wall would rather have me doomscroll than do things I actually need to do. Medication like adderall, especially the first time I took it, breaks this brick wall and allows me to do things I actually want to do. I'm just unable to get that prescribed to me right now, and 40mg of generic Vyvanse is barely doing anything as of now.
Basically, is there any nootropic that can 'break' this brick wall similarly to taking adderall for the first time? (I know getting the exact effect will probably be impossible)

TL;DR: Took Uridine powder sublingually for the first time this morning. About 3-4 hours later, got hit by a massive wall of brain fog, extreme mental fatigue, and a sudden existential/depressive funk. Wondering if this is a known reaction (cholinergic crash?) and how long it usually takes to clear.
Hey everyone,
Tried Uridine powder sublingually for the first time today around 10:30 AM (also had poor sleep the night before, woke up super early).
Everything seemed fine at first, but around 2 PM I completely crashed.
What I’m feeling right now:
- brain fog, feeling mentally slow and sluggish (like my brain is operating at 20% speed).
- Sudden wave of depressive thoughts and anxiety (questioning all my skills, feeling completely incompetent out of nowhere, feeling like I'm losing my grip on things).
- Zero energy, heavy eyes, just feeling totally wiped out.
Has anyone else experienced this acute drop in mood and cognitive speed after sublingual uridine? Is this an acetylcholine overload / cholinergic depression, or just a bad reaction to the sudden sublingual spike?
Any insights or similar experiences would be appreciated.

Titrating Concerta (18mg -> 36mg ER, 3 weeks in). Initial honeymoon faded, executive function is decent but tolerance/plateau is creeping in and I'm still relying heavily on nicotine for baseline dopamine.
Looking at Bromantane for TH upregulation (upstream synthesis) rather than compounding more reuptake inhibition, plus the anxiolytic side to kill the physical tension.
I won't consider adding it until the 36mg dose stabilizes and I'll re-evaluate then, but wanted to see if anyone tried this or has any advice or experience with this?
