My birthday is this weekend and I’ve been looking at dresses I already have that I haven’t worn yet to wear.

I was thinking of the color butter yellow this year. I’m usually not a fan of brighter colors. Sorry I didn’t steam the dresses or iron them first. They have just been folded up tbh.

The plans are going out to eat and then walking around a really busy city area next to the beach. There are bars, speakeasy(s???), big shopping plaza, etc.

The weather will be sunny and in the high 80s. The plans start around 4pm

Thoughts on these dresses? The last three are other options I could get that are more flowy. I’m usually used to wearing tighter clothes so these are a little different for me 😅.

I’m open to other dress suggestions as well too!!! I’m getting a little late to this because I just started school again.

I’m trying to learn how to cohesively and effectively mix patterns. It’s not something I do often and I always feel a little hesitant or unsure.

I was inspired by the tights I saw in the last slide so I made my own version of it. Granted, not nearly as nice as the websites.

What do we think? What colour scarf works better? Vest or no vest? Or just no to the whole outfit?

I’m incredibly excited (and a bit nervous) to share my first complete end-to-end piece as an aspiring fashion designer. I handled everything from the initial sketch to patterning and final sewing. I know nothing too hard and with a little help from my tailor. I love lightweight liquid satin in a soft blush/rose-gold pink since it catches the ambient light beautiful. I paired with metallic gold pointed-toe pumps, and I feel cute today for sure as always.

As much as I enjoy taking them at times I feel like I can never really capture some details
