I know. I'm worried about America, too.

Complete sidenote - I so hate that they ruined Spock in the JJ Abrams movies and the incredibly mediocre Strange New Worlds. Just make a new character, stop Weekend-At-Berniesing a beloved character from 60 years ago. For F's sajke, they keep trying to give him a girlfriend.

Curious I feel think Spock in Stange New worlds has been excellent. You get to see him on his path to Spockness.

I do however agree JJ's rage Spock missed the point entirely. 🖖

Agreed. Strange new worlds is great. Spock and all.

The climax of that second movie was Spock in a fist fight....you know, because that's what we always loved about Spock.

I want to like SNW - for me it's just very....there. Better than Discovery.

The heartbreak was that they canceled Academy. The trailers made it look awful, but it was actually pretty good (just fast forward through all the teen romance parts) Overall the first season was no worse (in some ways better) than the first season of Voyager or TNG. Of course it helps when you have Paul Giamatti as a bad guy
