remember when we didn’t hear stupid shit 7-8 times a day? I mean.. I really don’t take the bait with the whole “flood the zone” strategy, but I miss when my reddit feed wasn’t 60% “did you hear what that idiot just posted?”.

I don’t. He thought republicans were working in good faith.

He lost the senate super majority. He lost the Supreme Court. His ACA was so uninspiring that it’s nearly worthless now. He let Russia put Trump in office.

What a chump.

All true. But he was better than voting for trump again and that’s all we had at the time. It was 4 years of not waking up every day seeing what the current president did to embarrass us or destroy the planet faster. It wasn’t pretty, perfect or progressive but it was certainly more peaceful. All that being said if they went harder on some issues we might not be in this mess so next round we definitely need more of a fight.

I think he thought he could work in good faith with republicans. But Rush Limbaugh and his Barrack the Magic is *\\** was all the proof you needed that republicans are bad people.

You can’t talk sense into the majority party of the south. Their grandparents were bad people. Their parents were bad people and they’re bad people. Since the founding of this country.

Just ask the people of Lybia, the people of Yemen, or just the people in that bombed wedding how much they miss Obama.

Imagine a random foreign leader would order the bombing of a wedding in the USA and killed 37 civilians. That leader would be sure he was attacking terrorists, but "by mistake", he ends up ordering a war crime. How would the USA react in such scenario? Would it just been seen a mistake?

Now, I get your feeling. Living under Obama was much better than under this incompetent fascist. But it is just to show how privileged people in the USA have been compared to those living for decades under American-led terror and wars. In that regard, Trump is not that much of an outlier.
