This is the first president in the history of the country that actively doesn’t give a damn about the country. Of course we have safeguards, like Congress, but they’re in on the take. What a time to be alive.

Countries being robbed with our eyes wide open. How dare Obama wear a tan suit yet the fanta menace can pull all of his shit. Including touching kids.

Im a little disappointed the previous presidents havent gone ballistic. It used to be taboo and rightfully soon.

But trump ripped all the safeguards off and is still actively insulting them.

Presidential respect, how can it even be honored? Like what precedent are we referring to now.

Don't forget about the Dijon mustard on his hotdog! gasp SCANDALOUS!

u/super_sayanything 5d ago

Yea but did you hear about the tan suit?

2

u/TrailMomKat Indigenous 5d ago

Yeah, the dude above me just told me!

u/super_sayanything 5d ago

Yea but he also puts Dijon Mustard on his hot dog.

Holy shit, really!?

u/Circe44 5d ago

But did you know that Obama also rode a bicycle wearing a helmet?

2

u/TrailMomKat Indigenous 5d ago

I heard he even once smoked some weed!

Downvoting all mention of the tan suit and Dijon mustard. Find something better to be outraged about

Drone strikes that killed the bride at her wedding is pretty bad. Murdered 15 people, injured 15 more. Obama apologized.

But that pails in comparison to 200,000 civilian deaths in iraq or hundreds of thousands of deaths by USAID cuts or just one bomb that murdered 178 school girls along with 3,500 others killed in Iran.

So I'll take the tan suit and dijon mustard please.

We ought to just disable this whole military thing and provide healthcare, housing and livable wages for folks.

There it is, thank you.

I think it's possible to say they're all murderers while at the same time knowing it's NOT both sides are the same.

It's like do you want to hang out with your Uncle who's kind of stupid and negligent but cares enough or with Ramsay Bolton who is willing to chop you up into little pieces and feed you to dogs. (If you're a GOT fan.)

I see so many progressives going after Democrats in a way that I swear they're going to go put Republicans back in power in 2028.

Hopefully someday the Democrats will prevail over their arch enemies, the Democrats.

Um lol dude, we're literally mocking the people that DO always bring it up

No Republican has mentioned either of these things in 12 years.

I’m blue all the way, but those scandals were probably some of the most successful trolling in GOP history.

Leave Obama in the past. His legacy speaks for him.

We need to focus on the future. Dude.

A decade ago I honestly didn't think we could see a group such as the Nazi Party rise to power (in a civilised country) as they did in Germany ever again. I thought the World had moved on and learnt its lesson.

Now I think I'm watching it happen in real time.

And to think I once believed dubya would be the worst president in my lifetime. Boy was I fuckin wrong.

6

u/livinginfutureworld 5d ago

Same here. I thought Dubya was so bad and so embarrassing that we wouldn't reelect another Republican quite so kooky (and troubling) again in my lifetime.

Man we blew way past those low standards.

I hate when people write this. W was a monster, a war criminal. If any other country world leader did what he did, he would be regarded as nothing but a war criminal everywhere, and a phrase like yours would never be accepted.

I think that's the point. Even with all that being true, he was still preferable to Trump. Hence, "how fucked is that?"

0

u/Mysterious-Most-590 5d ago

Sad, isn’t it.

0

u/ultrahello Washington 5d ago

The whole cuddle buddy relationship W has with Michelle Obama is insane.

4

u/electro_gretzky 5d ago

I think about this way too much.

u/voodoodahl 5d ago

W Literally built the bridge that got us here. If he were president right now, his policy would be much the same, just with a bit more decorum.

1

u/Mysterious-Most-590 5d ago

You’re giving W a lot of credit here. Dumb as a bag of hammers doesn’t architect anything. Follow the money.

2

u/voodoodahl 5d ago

His dad was head of the CIA before becoming president. W was an ivy league educated airforce pilot. His aw shucks routine was a cover to disarm rubes.

Did he plan it all? That's just silly, but he was a fully informed partner. Not some yokel acting as Dick's shield.

Thank you for this information. TIL
