All of the endless memes about how we need to join hands and fight the oligarchy instead of each other are absolutely asking us to do just that.

It's a nice sentiment but it's terribly unsafe. The way the working class Nazis and Oligarchs are working it, we're all playing rock paper scissors and rock and scissors joined teams.

Exactly, that’s the core issue. People keep saying, “left or right, we need to join together and fight the rich.” Which is something all left-wing people agree with, and all right-wing people disagree with (they say they don’t but look at all the billionaires lining up with Republican politicians; they aren’t introspective enough to realize they’re being fooled)

"Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat, but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires"

You'll never purge the people you don't like from society.

There is no "safe" way to fight the oligarchy.

I know, which is why something like balkanization might be the least terrible option. Otherwise eventually some part of America is going to attempt a genocide on other parts... It's getting asked for constantly already; people frothing at the mouth to cleanse their compatriots from power effectively creating an apartheid state.

The US is like Israel and Palestine, either we get a multi state option or one side is going to try and cleanse the other. The culture divisions are too great to simply overcome.

Not saying the end result is coming soon, but it seems inevitable eventually, whether 3, 9, 15, or 25 years from now. Our divisions are insurmountable.

Our divisions are insurmountable.

No, they aren't. Our divisions are purely ideological. All ideologies can be surmounted.

How do you "surmount" Nazis? Kill them all? Not saying I want to leave them be, but we're talking about 30% of our country's population. I don't know how you punish or disempower that much of a country and maintain the country in the end.

Are you familiar with the nation state of Germany?

You realize Germany post war wasn't Germany pre-war, right? Totally different countries. As I mentioned, mass population destruction or disempowerment won't allow you to maintain the country. You'll have a new and different country, constitution, and government at that point.

It seems to me that balkanization would make that immensely more likely to happen.
