I personally kind of figured we were screwed when Uvalde happened and not a thing was changed as a result. If dead children, dead in the worst way possible, don’t elicit change in a country then nothing will. Americans are nothing but docile little lap dogs that like to bark real loud every now and then but have absolutely no bite.

I gave up after Sandy Hook. My in laws were spitting vinegar about how I was weaponizing (ironic) a tragedy to take away rights. Then they got caught up in the Las Vegas shooting. Now they're quieter but haven't changed their minds at all.
