i had a fedex hit my car (prius 2019) & im struggling with getting the insurance to take liability so my claim may be denied. so im stressed i have to pay.

its not major damage, my car still works & im getting around but it needs to have a better inspection just in case. its damage to my rear end on the right side so my bumper is messed up in that corner.

just want to get ahead to get some quotes/experienced opinions on the damage so i can prepare to pay for it outta pocket (if i need to) & even just to know where i can get good work (if they pay).

pls recommend any reliable body work / auto shops in the area + greater inland empire. i have a place in LA but would like to stay local & support good business! it’ll also be more convenient for me & my work schedule to be closer.

I don't go to Georges much, I went in early July and the indoor section was closed for remodeling. I went back 3 weeks later it was still closed. I went 2 days ago, and it was reopened. The only thing that looked different was that there was a blue bench seat. I think all the seats were burgundy before. But I could be wrong. The other benches still have rips and the tables are the same and were untouched. I'm wondering if maybe they just put the remodel on pause. Because this just looks like an older version of how it looked when I was in high school. And that was 92.

I don't know what I expected from this remodel, but if I didn't know it had been closed for remodeling, I wouldn't have known shit when I walked in. The fact it was closed for at least a month and there's no change is damn wild.

I know they give big ass portions. But I paid $23 for a grilled Pastrami sandwich with fries and a drink. And it's busy when I go. So I believe they should be able to afford to actually remodel it. While it's somewhat charming it still reminds me of high school. It's in dire need of change.

Is this a safe neighborhood or considered high crime?

I get that the county of Riverside is Purple but, the city (outside of hills south of the 91) are pretty blue.

Why have you all still allow the city council** to continue on with these tools for mass surveillance?

I’m taking the train to Fresno and planning to park at the Riverside-Downtown Metrolink/Amtrak for 5 nights. Metrolink says overnight parking is allowed in the main lot, but I’m wondering about actual experiences.
Has anyone left their car there for several days? Any issues with break-ins, theft, towing, or the gates being locked? Is there a particular section of the main lot that’s better/safer for overnight parking? Thanks!

I’m starting a new job in the IE next week this Monday so I really need to settle somewhere. Currently based on 2 bedroom rents in Riverside, the rent per person will be 1000-1250 per person. As part of this arrangement, both of us will each have our own room AND our own bathroom.

I’m relatively easygoing, I pay my bills, and I’m pretty quiet.

I haven’t chosen an apartment yet because, as mentioned earlier, I’d like to rent with someone else on a joint lease. Both of us will apply directly to the apartment.
