Hey guys, I’m 21M, 5’10”, and planning to get my first bike — Classic 350.

My use will mainly be daily college commute + weekend rides under 100 km, with a 500km+ trip once every 3–4 months.

Initially I was 60% Medallion Bronze / 40% Stealth Black purely based on looks. But because Stealth Black comes with alloy wheels + tubeless tyres, I’m now almost 50/50.

I don’t have plans to sell it anytime soon, and maintenance will depend on how lazy I get .

Which one would you choose if you were in my situation?

Also, which one looks better in person and will age better?

Please help me pick one — “get whichever you like” won’t work because I genuinely like both 😭

Advice needed

Planning to buy my first bike in the next 6 months and I've narrowed it down to these:

1. Hunter 350

2. Guerrilla 450

3. Meteor 350

4. Shotgun 650

5. Super Meteor 650

A bit of context:

It'll be my first bike.

I live in Delhi NCR, so it'll mostly be used in city traffic with potholes, heat, and plenty of stop-go traffic.

I will rarely but passionately drive on highways.

Budget isn't really an issue, I will buy the top variant of whatever model i choose

All of these have the features I want (dual-channel ABS, tubeless tyres, navigation, etc.), so it's more about which bike I'll enjoy driving.

That is where my dilemma starts

I've kind of ruled out the Hunter because it just feels a bit too entry-level and doesn't excite me that much. The Guerrilla seems like a really good bike but I just can't get myself to like the looks.

The Meteor 350 seems like the logical choice for my use case.

But then there's the Super Meteor 650...

I absolutely love how it looks and every time I think I've made up my mind, I end up looking at the Super Meteor again. The only thing stopping me is the weight. And how hard it actually is to drive paired with the fact that i am a first time buyer

I'm 5'9" with a fairly heavy build, so I don't think seat height will be an issue.

So I wanted to ask you all for your opinions regarding this here are a few questions I have

If you were in my position, which one would you buy and why?

For Super Meteor owners, do you actually get used to the weight after a while or is it something that keeps annoying you in everyday city riding?

If I ignored the practical side and bought the Super Meteor just because I love it, would I regret it later or is it still manageable enough as a first bike?

I have been looking here and there to find the best motorcycle for my needs(mentioned below). The research has come down to these 2 options.
RE Interceptor 650 Vs RE Shotgun 650

I will be riding it for weekend cafe rides(100 kms round trip) and long touring (once a year).
Buying a motorcycle just to fulfil the inner child’s dream and to reward the man , who has worked a lot to get at this level of financial stability and success. So, budget isn’t an issue.

Also, i will ride it for a month or so as i live outside India.I know that renting a bike makes more sense but somethings doesn’t have to make sense. ☺️ I will keep it for my entire life.

For ref. - I am 33M with 77kgs weight, 5 feet 8 inches.

I have also owned RE classic 350 for four years in past and absolutely loved it.

I'm planning to buy an Interceptor 650 around Diwali 2026, and I've almost finalized the bike. However, I'm confused about a few things and would really appreciate advice from long-term owners.

Colors I'm considering:

- Cali Green

- Sunset Strip

- Black Ray

Which one looks the best in person and continues to look good after a few years? Which color is easiest to maintain, hides dust/scratches better, and still turns heads?

Spoke wheels or Alloy wheels?

I'm also confused between:

- Spoke wheels (tubed tyres) – I love the classic look.

- Alloy wheels (tubeless tyres) – They seem much more practical.

My usage:

- Daily city commuting and office rides

- Weekend highway rides

- Frequent hill rides

- Long rides

- Planning to keep the bike for many years

Considering my usage, which would you recommend—spokes or alloys? Has anyone regretted their choice after owning the bike for a while?

One more question:

Since I'm planning to buy around Diwali 2026, do you think I should wait for any possible Royal Enfield update? Is there any chance they might introduce new colors, new variants, or any meaningful upgrades for the Interceptor 650 in the coming months, or should I just go ahead and buy during Diwali?

I’m looking to buy a Royal Enfield since I’ve loved them ever since I was a kid. To be honest, I’ve been commuting on an Activa for the past 2–3 years, but since it recently broke down, I’m thinking of finally getting an RE.
I’ve always loved classic bobber-style bikes like the Sportster S and Indian Bobber, although I’ve never ridden either of them, and I haven’t learned how to ride a geared motorcycle yet.
Right now, I’m confused between the Shotgun 650 and the Meteor 650. I’m 5’11” and around 80 kg, and I’ll mainly be using the bike for commuting to college and running daily errands.
I plan to learn on a regular motorcycle first, and since I’ve already been riding an Activa, I think learning to ride a geared two-wheeler should take me a week or two at most.
So, what would you suggest? Feel free to recommend other Royal Enfield models as well. Thanks! 😊

​I’m in a massive dil vs dimaag situation right now and need some feedback from actual owners and riders

I’ve completely fallen for the Royal Enfield Classic 650 I really, really love how this bike looks. If I end up buying it, it’s 100% a heart decision based on aesthetics and vibe alone.

Here's my situation

​It's 80k over my hard budget that’s a serious stretch for me financially

I have zero interest in speed thrills, ripping open the throttle, or chasing top speeds. I’m a super chill rider who just wants to relax and cruise gently. The 650 twin is honestly a tiny bit too much engine for what I actually need

I might or might not take it on a few small weekend trips occasionally, but long-distance touring isn't really my primary focus

Why my heart is hooked--

1.Easily one of the prettiest retro bikes on the road today. The stance, dual-tone paint, and chrome details are 10/10

2.That parallel twin is butter No harsh vibrations, and that deep, relaxed rumble at slow speeds is just unmatched

3.just looks and feels special every time you glance at it even my mother who usually brush of bikes

Said take this if u want this looks good

But.....

Why my brain is hesitating..

Getting around 20,22 kmpl in city traffic is a major downvote for me. The fuel bills are definitely going to add up fast but if I use scooter or something else i can manage

Running and service costs for a 650 twin are naturally higher than a standard 350

Puncture anxiety on a bike this heavy is very real

And its almost 250kg but what can I say its Classic 650 so of course it will be heavy

Am I being an idiot for stretching my budget by 80,000 for a heavy, low-mileage bike strictly because I’m obsessed with its looks, even if I’ll never actually use its top-end speed? Or will the sheer joy of owning something I love make up for the painful mileage and extra cost?

Just wanted to share a tip for anyone waiting months for a Royal Enfield.

I had booked a meteor 350 in Kolhapur, but I was told the waiting period would be around 6–8 months. The problem was that my birthday was only 10 days away, and I really wanted to get the bike around my birthday.

So I decided to try something different.

I literally called almost every Royal Enfield showroom in Maharashtra, asking them what bikes they had physically available or arriving soon.

After a lot of calls, I finally found a Meteor 350 in Yellow at a showroom in Satara which was a cancelled booking and had accesories.

I booked it and ended up getting the bike in just 8 days instead of waiting 6+ months.

So my tip is: don't only check your nearest showroom. If you're willing to travel, call Royal Enfield dealerships in other cities and specifically ask about stock already available at the dealership or bikes that are already allocated to them.

You might get lucky and find your exact colour/model sitting somewhere else.

In my case, a few hours of calling definitely saved me months of waiting.

So uhh i kinda have to give context on this so my father's company would be giving a bike for achieving annual target and since he already has one he'd be giving it to me and it would be a RE bike specifically the 350cc series so i really dont have much choice here.

Personally i'm a fan of the cruiser like style of meteor but all i'll be doing is commute in the city and do not plan on touring in the near future atleast.So most of the riding would be done in traffic and might have to go through some tight spaces and bad roads too

I'm 5'4 and i've sat on the meteor once and i can pretty much handle the weight my legs are comfortable but not flat footed.

Would picking the meteor over hunter be a bad decision for my purpose?

I’m planning to get an RE. Haven’t taken a test ride yet, but will probably do that soon.
Design-wise, I really like both the Bear 650 and Interceptor 650, and I’m a bit confused between the two. Had a few questions for people who have actually ridden/owned them:

1. Which one is better for cruising and casual road trips? Especially with a pillion. I’m not really looking for aggressive riding, more like relaxed weekend rides and occasional longer trips.

2. Any issues with the 2026 models? Anything I should specifically look out for before buying either of them?

3. What’s the usual waiting period? I’m mainly looking at Black Ray or Boardwalk White, so would be good to know if these colours have longer waiting periods.

1. I went to a showroom and the guy gave me an on-road quote that included a 4/5-year extended warranty + helmets. Is that something I actually need?
   I’d rather buy a proper helmet separately instead of taking whatever helmet comes with the bike. So wondering if the extended warranty is worth paying for as well.

Would love to hear from people who’ve actually ridden both, especially with/without a pillion.

I could have chosen other colours of Classic 350 but they don't come with alloy wheels.

Classic 650 teal

So right now I already have an gixxer 150 sp 2016 and I drove it 85k kms in 10 years and a classic 350 2012 and I rode it 65k kms in 14 years. Now I’m thinking of upgrading to an adventure bike which is either Himalayan 450 mana black or KTM adventure 390 S. Now the issue is I like the way Himalayan looks the retro and modern feel I love that but ktm has the power which challenges you and the one which throws you back.

I'm considering buying a second hand, single owner, low mileage Himalayan from a reputable local dealer in Thailand. A little over 6K km on the engine. No accidents. A few aftermarket additions. New tires as of this year.

85K baht or~ $2500 USD.

​Here are the bike details:

​Make/Month: May 2022 (Pre-E20 / BS6 Phase 1)

​Odo: ~6,500 km

​Color: Orange Crush

​Condition: Visually clean, but it has mostly been sitting idle.

​The Negotiation:

The seller initially listed it for ₹3.3 Lakh. After some back-and-forth, he dropped it to ₹2.6L. I gave him a firm offer of ₹2.20 Lakh. He walked away initially, but after a week, he reached back out asking me to increase my offer because he needs to fund his next bike. I have since then made my last offer of 2.3lakhs.

Should i go for it?

I am seeking suggestions and clarifications regarding the purchase of a Royal Enfield Classic 350 medallion Bronze, which would be my first Royal Enfield motorcycle.

1. What is the standard warranty period for this model? I am also inquiring about the utility of an extended warranty. If an extended warranty is recommended, which of the four available options offers the best value for money? I explicitly do not require Roadside Assistance (RSA), as I have found it to be ineffective when most needed.

2. Unlike the Commando Sand model, there is no option to change the wheels for the Classic 350 Bronze. Therefore, I would like to know if upgrading to alloy wheels after purchase would void the warranty. Additionally, I am seeking advice on whether Royal Enfield's proprietary alloy wheels or aftermarket options are superior.

Hey guys, so I have decided to buy classic 350 for me after few months of reviews and thinking and opinions and not what.

I like the gun grey and emerald green both, but I am thinking to go for gun grey and then later maybe will wrap the bike is matte cosmic blue.

I like the emerald as well because its unique, has that royal feeling and just looks astonishing, but the tubed tires and chrome is something that is making me choose the gun grey, I love how gun grey looks, I wish RE had better color schemes like the gun metal grey, damn that was a sexy color, but just making this post if any of you have any of these 2 colors or have any opinions and why.

There have been many comments that gun grey looks like duracell, personally I dont see it but I understand your opinion, its funny XD. The other color options like stealth black no because too much black and not that outstanding and bronze one doesnt have that feel looks dull idk why to me, I have seen many posts and people love that color but its not me.

I was in this confusion of what to buy for my new bike, I was hooked on inty650 or classic 350, I test rode multiple bikes even honda highness which was fitting my needs.
The current situation is I am not wanting to spend 4-5lakhs on a bike rn, so thinking to get something upto 2.5-3lakhs,
So inty is out of options.
I test rode classic 350, meteor350, goan classic which was a horrible experience idk i didnt like it at all and also honda highness.
Meteor was the most comfortable one, highness was nice had nice thump and was fun but didnt get that feeling and then when I sat on classic Idk why but got that royal feeling of riding a nice bike that made me feel good actually.
My basic needs are like comfortable bike, good pillion support, I dont drive like too fast, and the tdv classic meteor i rode at 100, the vibration was okay, I think its bearable and i dont mind that, but I am not sure which one to go for.
Classic 350 is so much regularized that idk it doesnt have that charm to me but then riding it feels so good, then meteor stellar blue i am loving and it is a great bike, so relaxed felt like a king riding it.
Its so confusing, let me know if anyone has any thoughts, I know its a rant but i felt it will be safe to rant here than anywhere else.

I have a Classic 650 (14 months, 7,500 km) and a 12-year-old FZ for local runs. Thinking of selling the 650 and buying a Goan Classic 350 so I have one bike I actually use for everything.

Why: at 243 kg the 650 never gets used locally, tube tyres worry me on ghat roads, and windblast caps me around 120 anyway so I’m not really using the engine. My riding is mostly 100–300 km weekend runs to Ooty, Valparai and Coorg from Coimbatore.

Test rode the Goan and it’s clearly less smooth. I expected that, but feeling it was different from knowing it.

For anyone who’s made this trade:
* Did the refinement gap fade after a few months, or get worse?
* Did the weight and running cost benefits actually show up day to day?
* Anyone go back up to a bigger bike? What triggered it?
* Goan owners — how is it over 200–300 km of ghat roads, and what luggage fits with that chopped fender?

I know the 650 is the better bike. I want to hear from people who downgraded anyway and lived with it.

Which one should I consider?? I am pretty confused between the bullet standard with dual abs or the classic 350 ?? I will mainly drive in city and occasionally touring and it's my first royal enfield. THINKING OF THIS TWO COLOURS.

This new Gorkha Edition colour looks solid and brings back memories of the Marsh Green colour. The only downside is that RE isn’t offering alloy wheels like the Commando Sand , even though the price is almost the same. If they offered alloy wheels like the Commando Sand through MIY it would be a solid choice for those who don’t want the Stealth Black.

I’ve been riding my Royal Enfield Classic 500 for the last 8 years and now I’m planning to buy a new 650. I absolutely love the look of the GT 650 but I’m 6'3" and I’m worried it might look or feel a bit small on me.

My second choice is the Interceptor 650.

This picture is an old one from the corona days and I've changed the handle now but I’d love to hear opinions from taller riders who’ve owned or ridden both. Which one would you pick?
