Yesterday was our slowest day at bouy 10 this year and the only day he could fish with me. 20 lbs on a old spring scale

I started fishing in August last year, mostly off popular piers. I spent the first few months confused about basically everything. I didn't know what rig to tie, I couldn't tell which fishing spots were good for which fish, and I couldn't read a tide chart well enough to know if I was showing up at the right time.

Recently fished out Neah Bay. Big Salmon resort runs the Marina for launching and temp moorage etc. This was the first day out there in my Arima Seachaser called Sea Kitten (ask PETA! lol). Had a bit of trouble getting the downrigger out of the way, but it all worked out. Didn't know it was a White King until I was cleaning it. Caught quite a few more on my nine day stay. Coho are so thisck out on Swiftsure that you have to try to NOT catch them. Check out wherer Swiftsure is 48.49 124.94

I seen this guy using two rods trolling with what seems like one person in the boat. Pretty sure it is illegal or against rules and regs. Want to clarify. This was chinook landing 8/16 if this is you explain yourself.

Im fishing Steinfossen on the Alta in a couple hours. The fishing has been slow on day one. Tried float, intermediate and sinking lines, different flies etc.

Hi all! What would you recommend as the best single hook setup for salmon/steelhead on these (magnum) wiggle warts? I need to fish from shore primarily with snagging as an issue but also want to know if there’s a better configuration from a boat. Seems like the swivel would help on a death roll but don’t want a double hook setup to get in one another’s way. I could also look for some bead chains. I also don’t want to kill the action of these warts.

I am going salmon fishing in Yakutat, Alaska for the first time! I will be there mid June and have no idea what to take to wear to stay warm and dry. Is there anything that y’all think is 100% necessary? What about things that are best left at home?
