I sometimes collect pebbles from the beach in Spain to keep in my office to remind me of summer. This summer I picked up one that looked like a tiny sun and then forgot about it.
I just found it in my swim shorts and ended up discussing with ChatGPT whether it could be amber or if it was “just glass.”
And that’s how I discovered r/seaglass, the International Sea Glass Association, and apparently people spending years trying to find yellow sea glass 🤯
So here it is, my first find. I’ll keep my eyes open in the future :)

Second time finding marbles, but first time finding a white one :) also found abalone shells washed up for the first time. Next goal is an intact float

I found my first purple & pink seaglass pieces today & a beautiful multicoloured chunk of pirate glass! 🥳

Another warm and stormy August here. The last half of the month had small waves and lots of sand. We are ready for fall walks when it's cooler out.

Found my first orange and it’s also cadmium and glows under black light! Also found this cool yellow golden color too!

Found my first dual toned piece and also bits of clay pottery from sea glass beach near port Townsend! Definitely going back.

A few finds on my first scout for sea glass in South Africa.

found a little pottery bit, a few intact-ish bottle bottoms/necks and a faint purple pink one too! out of the places in cork i’ve been to so far, schull definitely takes the cake with the size and frequency of seaglass.

All sea glass left there! Just enjoyed spending a few hours making this!

Collected a ton of sea glass and had a couple of enquiries. Got a fun noughts and crosses pattern and what looks to be a Newlands’ Pine Disinfectant bottle complete with pine tree decoration!

Recently came upon this in Wildwood. Any idea on what this fully read?
