The prices. I researched one of the books and homeboy is at 3 x the asking on eBay. I stopped there.

Warning!!!! I ordered two comics from the ComicXposure website. The Felix Leon Foil Absolute Batman #22 and the Marco Mastrazzo Virgin Absolute Batman # 23 from them. What I received was a damaged book on the Mastrazzo cover. The backing board and package were not damaged indicating the book was knowingly damaged before it was placed in the sleeve. I was so upset that I hadn’t noticed that they also sent a trade dress copy instead of the more expensive Virgin copy I paid for. When I sent them an email and pictures showing the damage, they sent me a reply saying “Sorry about that, but didn’t you order a virgin Copy”. Basically accusing me of trying to do something shady, but no offer of trying to fix their mistake. The book on their website is still in stock so it would be easy to exchange for the correct one I paid for. I have not heard from them since. I will not ever buy from them again, and neither should anyone else. They have no integrity and do not care about their customers.

Im from Spain, and here is hard to find US old comic books. While i was having a walk, I entered a 2nd hand library (not a comic shop) and I see they have Spiderman issues . I'm like , I might pick some if they are decently priced... They were 1-3$ books for 35$, and after checking their web, their prices are outrageous, like key comics like 1st Rogue which is a 100$ book for 300$ ( all keys are like x3 value) and after confronting the Owner he told me that he was an expert in comics that he used ebay last sold, keycollector and clz comics for checking prices. Sad some of this will be there for ages.

I have encountered this twice this week. Online sellers omitting or “forgetting” to mention flaws that cap these comics at low grade despite selling them for multiple times overstreet values. It’s such a bummer when you wait for a beautiful book that ends up having undisclosed flaws. One seller didn’t even apologize and just resistantly offered some cash back.

Also look at the description... It's not even $100 for the whole collection. It's $100 PER BOOK!!!
