im a sniper elite girlie and im curious if anyone here has completed:

• the 9 campaign missions
• the 7 propaganda missions (excluding the dlc ones)
• the 6 survival maps including all the ops (24 survival ops in total)

if anyone here has completed all of these, i will be ur gf :)

(p.s. i need some help with the survival mode if anyone wants to co-op with me)

And it's one of the saddest map-trappers out there. She must spend hundreds of hours in this Mission 3 save file, a mine every few metres, waiting for invaders to spawn in.

my personal favourite are spy academy and lock stock and barrels

I need help getting the multiplayer trophies and the co-op trophy in sniper elite 3 on the PS3

I was wondering if I could find someone here who can help or need help too

There are just 3 trophies:

> The co op one which need from you to complete the game with someone else can be done fast on easy

> The everyman which you need to complete some challenges like 4 or 5

> And the last one highly decorated you'll need to get 1 of each ribbon in multiplayer ( one of them needs at least 3 players )

A friend and I have played thru each of the Sniper Elite games on co-op so we decided to record our playthru of Resistance. We’ve been having a blast putting Nazi’s in the ground. At the time of this post going up we are still mid campaign as far as recording goes.

Let me know if you want to see us do something else with this series beyond just playing through each mission. I had an idea that we might compete in the challenges against each other to see who can do better in like a best of three attempts for each run. If you have fun ideas, please share them.

Is SE5 invasion playable? I've had and played the game for a long time but only today have I started playing invasion, and it seems like it's just packed with hackers. Most of the time going against a Karl, they either are able to take an infinite amount of Mauser rounds, or they snap 180 degrees and headshot me from a quarter of the map away. Is there anyone playing with invasion on that isn't just blatantly cheating?

So I’ve knocked out about a 1000 hours of play for SE5 and Resistance. For these two games I now continually get an overheating problem. The fan is buzzing like crazy and then it will power off.

I don’t get this with other games.

Do I need to clear the cache or something like that? Has anyone else experienced problems like this with the SE games?

Should I delete them and then reinstall?

This one was on "hard" difficulty, selected by the teammate.

Finishing the mission as soon as possible = no invader hunting

(reluctantly had to kill one invader, but only because the game told me to)

And before you know it you have 2,000+ kills

Keep an eye on the map on the HUD. Turned yellow? Worth investigating

Practice with authentic aiming. Can't rely on the magic red diamond when aiming through some windows

Hallo need help for multiplayer ACHIEVEMENTS for sniper elite v2 if someone could help let me know

It's a lovely easy level once you've sussed out a route that works for you. What's yours?

For me, it's:

Take out the harbour guys (all of them). Get the sniper from the harbour.

Head to the sniper tower via the nearest generator in the village (above the gatehouse).

Snipe everything from the sniper tower. Head up the hill towards the top of the castle (crossing the bridges).

Down through the castle, and clearing our the sheds beneath.

Into the village. Find the resistance bolt hole.

Support the resistance in the square, shooting the Germans from the rear. Clear our remaining Germans.

Get to the church crypt with the bomb.

Blow the castle gates.

Done.

I've simplified this of course for brevity. But does anyone have a vastly different route they'd recommend?

My reaction time is because I was so surprised. If you want to have cartoon physics, don’t be surprised by the cartoon reaction.

Just got sniper elite zombie army today (only played sniper elite 2 and 3 ages ago) and as i was anxious about zombies number around me i accidentally stepped into this place as shown and they disappear suddenly lol

A while back I posted this video of Fahad_M_K8 doing some really weird shit. PlayStation player, Authentic difficulty. I snuck up and knifed him, gave him a proper surprise. Since then, I've come up against him twice more doing the same thing, but on Rubble & Ruin, firing at nothing holed up in the church bell tower. He uses the phone immediately you spawn, if you're in direct line of sight, you're dead because he's insanely fast on the shot. Blink of glint, dead. Too fast for a console/controller surely? Hmmm.... No video this time sorry because I closed the game, and the PS deletes the recorded video from memory. Really wish I hadn't quit!

This time it was Occupied Residence, every weirdo's favourite mission for a lame ass setup on the top floor. Authentic again, so he couldn't see that I had snuck up top and laid 2x Tellers and 1x TNT hidden in the corner by the attic door. I then retreated back down the top floor passageway on the west side where the NPC in the white shirt patrols.

From the top floor balcony overlooking the courtyard I watched him crouch walk along the southern uncovered part of the top floor towards the attic door, and walk straight through the traps. BOOM! Completely unaffected, no bandages or medkits applied, he then walked down the passage towards me, melee killed the white shirt guy and turned to go back to the attic door. I was right behind him, undetected, and emptied a clip of MP44 into his back from close range. Seeing he was still on his feet and turning to shoot back, I just quit on the spot. I googled emulation / spoofing and discovered that it is remarkably easy for cheaters to con their opponents into thinking they are on a PS, when actually they're on a PC, complete with mod trainer.

Sometimes I wonder if its a good idea posting this kind of thing, because some fool will think, ah ok, I'm gonna give that a go. If you do, well, fuck you. But there's still way more good buggers playing than there are fuckwits, and I figure the good guys need to know this shit exists. This match explained so many weird incidents that in my mind, I've blamed on the actual game code and Rebellion's shonky QC. Surviving "un-survivable" explosions mostly, but also crystal clear perfect headshots or multiple torso shots. It does seem, however, that the mod trainer cannot deal with a melee kill, as evidenced by the first time I got him on Liberation.

So there you have it. I didn't know about PS icon emulation (aka spoofing I believe) until a co-op mate mentioned it on the weekend. You can look up how they do it yourself if you're interested, but it seems incredibly easy to achieve from where I'm standing. The PlayStation icon next to the gamer tag used to be a kind of insurance, like, this guy is not going to be able to do all the questionable shit we see with so many PC players, so I'm free from cheater concern. Let's go! But now that illusion has been shattered and I'm left ruing the fact that we truly are surrounded by an ocean full of cheating scumbags preying on the good guys. What a bunch of sad cretins.

The more I read about all this, the less interested in competitive online gaming long-term I become. I'm good at it, and really really enjoy it, and its helped me greatly in difficult times. But all the fuckwitted gamesmanship we're seeing with murder maps, 4000 hour panzerfaust wielding co-op fools on easy difficulty generating "content", cleared map invader hunters in perma-focus... the blatant don't even bother hiding it cheaters... If its this bad now, where is it headed?

There's a finite lifespan to this chapter of my gaming career because I've got other things I want to go do semi-permanently soon, with real guns. But the young fellas coming through are facing a real dilemma. You'd think they have so much to look forward to, the next gen games are mind-blowing and beyond that? Jeez, the mind boggles. But do you really want to spend so much of your precious time battling this shit? The gaming industry's talented developers provide us with incredible experiences, they're so creative. The tech is amazing. Scary really, now that AI is here. I started gaming properly with two ethernet connected i486 PCs over Christmas 1993, playing the original Doom with my best mate, laughing so hard we couldn't see for the tears. We couldn't believe fun could be that much fun. And yet here we are today.

Human behaviour, hey? We get dragged down to the lowest common denominator time after time. Seems like a lot of kids adopt a "if you can't beat them, join them" mentality, which is frightening for lots of reasons. I'm not feeling particularly optimistic this is going to get better, it just seems to get worse every year.
