I made a top list of rare analog synths. Can you guess what's hiding at the #1 spot?

Remora - subtractive synth in a phone case
This is a fun project. It's a multi-voice, hi-fi digital synth that fits in a phone case (prototype is designed around an iPhone 17 Pro Max).
The idea is basically a fidget-synth. Lots of deliberately different tactile controls — thumbwheels, toggles, sliders, buttons — so you can play with the sound by feel instead of staring at a touchscreen. Phone not required. Future plans include iphone App functionality (including sequencer, possibly additional effects, etc.)
Boards should be here in a few weeks, and then we'll find out whether I actually designed a synthesizer or an unusually expensive phone case. :)
If I ever get the damn thing working and it's as much fun as I think it'll be, I'll probably fire up a Kickstarter.
“But you can already get a synth app on your phone.”
True that.
That's kinda the point. This is the anti-app phone synth :)

Stay tuned!

Synth to Sampler?
I recently acquired a Roland SP 404 sampler to add to my solo stage show. I am looking for a recommendation for a synthesizer to create sequences that I can link to the SP404s pads. Should I stick with digital as I do and will not use the synth live? Or will I find more use from hardware? Also, I have been using a Volca Drum for percussion and like it very much. Thank you!

Can anyone identify this device?
I'm wondering if anyone can identify this device used by Chloé Antoniotti when she plays live. It seems like she's just using it to press play at the start of each song, and that it's somehow controlling some of her synthesizers. But I'd like to know what exactly it is and if it's controlling a DAW somewhere off camera, or if it's a way to control midi inputs to your synths without the need for computer.
Here is the link to the full performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6vEb_uH6x0&list=RDG6vEb_uH6x0&start_radio=1&t=2083s

Why all the hate for the korg volca modular?
Seems pretty interesting synth and more flexible than the kastil ones, with a sequencer, midi and more points... Seen for under £100. Also has a CV input so can work with other modular gear.
Any thoughts?

Do You Think Behringer Will Eventually Release The EMSVCS3 Clone

For a beginner wanting something Minimoog esque on a budget, is the Behringer Model D still the best option?
Currently only have a Korg Volca Keys and a Midi controller 😅
I know there's the Poly D too, but that one's a bit out of my budget atm
Any other suggestions you have? I have also been looking at the Behringer Pro-1, CAT, and Crave
