I never thought a game of any kind could make me angry enough to go on my phone, open Reddit -all the while shaking in rage- and type out a whole post.

I never thought guilty gear, a game which I got into exclusively because of the art and music, something I am very honest to myself about, would still make me invested enough in the gameplay to nearly break a controller in rage.

I have a decades long history with playing videogames and not once, not throught playing elden ring, sekiro, cuphead, or any other rage inducing game, have I ever raged. I have been upset. I have felt a spike in heart rate. And then I get off the game.

So tell me how the ABSOLUTE FUCK AM I MEANT TO DO ANYTHING AGAINST ZONING. ANYTHING AT ALL. I CAN PLAY LEO AND I CAN HAVE A FIGHTING CHANCE AGAINST ELPHELT, HAPPY CHAOS, AXL.

But somehow, Queen dizzy I can’? Why, one might ask oneself? Might it be the screen covering SWIPE OF DOOM? Or better yet, might it be the ice spike shoved up my character’s hairy, Post traumatic asshole once I make any attempt of Ariel approach?

My controller now has a crack. Every other time I’ve gotten my ass handed to me in this game, which I have been religiously playing for enough time to be acquainted with a regular level of anger at this game, I have only ever been happy my opponent outplayed me.

Or, in nicer terms, how do I deal with zoning when the only route of approach I can see is completely blocked off? Or is the matchup simply not in my favour when playing Leo?

Why does everyones 6p beat my 2k/2D even at max range but my 6p gets beat by it? I have literally had Sol, test, Ky, and pots 6p beat out my 2k and 2D on various characters today. I love that it just seems that the game hates me and doesn't make a lick a of sense
