I STILL CANāT BELIVE THIS HAPPENED!
I thought I scored with this Ralph Lauren Green label suit I got from goodwill. But when I got home and checked the pockets I found $250 in the pocket underneath the label. I guess they donāt check the pockets in the suits or just didnāt check that one. Either way, shoutout to the goodwill employees who put this ABSOLUTE GEM šout without checking the pockets and to whoever donated it.

This weekend I was at a lake house. It was raining, so we decided to go into town. There is this cute children's boutique (with very expensive designer stuff) and took my daughter to get a first day of school outfit.
When we go there, there was a sign in the window (see second picture) saying fill this bag for $100. Basically, they had tons of bins in the basement of new with tags clothes/accessories divided by size and whatever you could fit in the bag you could get for $100.
I felt such a rush- like i was on supermarket sweep or something - they had amazing stuff in basement like the noralee dress that is currently on the noralee website for regular price for $135.
The other pink dress in the photos is the brand Charabia - which is apparently a luxury parisian label where the dresses are typically $300 plus.
My daughter was going nuts over the hair clips and rings and accessories. We also got stuff for my son and baby nephews - i love that grey sweater. We got three adorable blue peacoats.
We added everything up and full price was over $2300 for everything (and somethings didnt have prices so it is actually more) more than 95 percent off.
My heart was racing and it really felt like a 'start the car' moment from that ikea commercial. All the moms were calling their friends to come as fast as they can and we were all looking at each other in disbelief.

Omg! I'm riding a high right now. I LOVE a good deal. Not only that, I love it even more when it is something I will use for years to come. Enter search for basic Vintage sewing table. Ask and you shall receive! Sitting in my living room alone last night I looked out the window to see this magnificent table starring at me from the garbage bins. Like perfectly positioned to face my apartment. The universe said you MUST see this. It's exactly what you were looking for.
Sitting outside my garbage bin was a Beauty fold Sew-Table.
My flabbers, gasted. My jaw, on the floor. I'm loosing it at this point but I also have the worst social anxiety aswell as fear of judgements. My mother was extremely judgmental so her voice runs free in my head 24/7.
When I tell you I stalked this table from my window for about 3 hours last night. I was 3-4 glasses of wine deep. I passed the table off as just an unserious thought and went to bed. But I couldn't stop thinking about that table. It was exactly what I was looking for. I had even taken out the garbage last night to get a closer look at the table and was too chicken to grab it then.
I knew the next day after waking up and sitting at the window with the coffee that I had to just woman up and grab the dang table. Fear of being judged by my neighbors or not. Even though I truly dont care what they think of me the fear still exists. I talked to my 5 year old about it and his response was "That's a nice table mom. You should just go get it before some other lady grabs it. And then you can have your own space away from us".
Well damn. Point made son. I have never just 1,2,3... myself so fast. I put a big black sweater on with a hoodie because for some reason that made me feel better about the furniture rescue I was about to commit. And I left my apartment. Put my shoes on and ran out to the garbage so fast. Talking to myself the whole way ofcourse. Reminding myself to just get there and not look up.
Don't look at the cars parked. Dont look at other people's doors or windows. If you can't see them they aren't there. Just get to the table. Check it quick. Grab it. And run like hell back to your apartment. Don't look up. Don't make eye contact. Just haul ass. I have never been more proud of myself when it came to stuff like this cause I've really been thinking about that table all night and I would have kicked myself forever about it.
Table secured, cleaned & put away in the corner of my room I was saving just for this very purpose. I'm beyond excited. Between the table and the chair this whole set-up cost me $5. Plus they fit my style perfectly and go together great. I would say that's a great find.

Couldnāt believe my luck! It was sitting flat on the top shelf so you couldnāt tell what it was at a glance, so I think someone was trying to hide it. My inner 12 year old self is screaming!!!

I have wanted one of their pieces for SO long. Iām obsessed with their rustic modern luxury style but theyāre way out of my budget. Today I see this gorgeous coffee table sitting in the drop-off area. I had been in the market for a wooden round one to replace my rectangular glass one (the one in all my posts) so it immediately caught my eye. I could tell it was high quality but I was unsure about it being so low to the ground. I stood there pondering it over for a while before going inside to ask for a price. They offered it to me for $50 ($40 after my coupon). I was like this table must be at LEAST $400 so thatās a great deal. Imagine my surprise when I see the Arhaus label as Iām wiping it down at home ā original price was $2.3k lol Iāll be living off this high for a while.

Saw them on the cart rolling across the floor and thought no way those are there by the time I get through the crowds. Got up to the cart and there they were. Asked someone closer if they could hand them to me š $4 each at my local Deseret

Came up on these yesterday and couldnāt believe my eyes; huge fan of the original film - over the moon. My first time finding cast & crew merch for a movie/show that hasnāt released yet. No telling how the sequel will do, but fun find nonetheless!

i originally started thrifting because i wanted to save money. somehow that turned into noticing certain brands, styles and objects every time i walked into a store. now iāll see something and immediately think, āi donāt need this, but i collect these.ā
did anyone else accidentally start collecting something because of thrift shopping?

I went to this thrift store that has gone crazy with pricing items way too high lately. As I was about to leave empty-handed, I spotted this beautiful Bittossi vase. I was fully expecting to find a $45 price tag on it (yeah, itās THAT kind of thrift store) but it was only $8. And itās in perfect condition too. Iām still shaking a little.
