5 months old. I feed her wet food 2x/ day and leave dry food out for here all day but she just looks skinny! Should I be feeding her more, or is this just what a kitten looks like?

Two nights ago I took a new medication that made me incredibly nauseated. I was pacing around my apartment at 2AM trying not to puke and my little girl just kept following me around.
Then it hit me. I ran into the bathroom, sat on my squatty potty and puked my guts out. She came into the bathroom, sat between my legs, and just looked up at me. She didn't meow or anything. Just sat there very quietly. I'd like to think she was checking to see if I was ok.
Maybe I'm anthropomorphizing too much, but it was really sweet and tender. After I was done, I washed up and laid in bed. Y'all when I tell you that she curled up right next to me and slept all night. She didn't even wake me in the morning like she usually does. She just stayed sleeping next to me until I got up.
I've had her since the end of January. I got her as a little companion since I live alone and she was the best decision I've made in a long time.

this is my brother's little girl miss lilith, she's i think 4 years old yet she only weighs 2.7 kilograms and is. smol. the person my brother got her from apparently said she's a mixed breed but to this day i was unable to properly identify her. she's just small. double coated with short stubby legs and more fur than body mass. she also likes cuddles and being carried around like a baby. usually when she loafs she looks like a spore staring at you (second to last pic).
this lady also does have favorites, and those favorites are usually men. she only asks for cuddles from me when there are no men or men's clothing present around her, even if there are my stepdad's shirt lying around she will lay next to it rather than me. and i took care of her for months when she was little and my brother had to leave for work š i guess i will have to make do with being the last choice always and will never understand the enigma that she is.
edit: me and my brother are so happy that you all loved her so much! also apparently she's considered a torbico? but hesitating to change the flair still bc i am unsure.

Because last time she escaped and was found hiding (and hissing) behind the microwave in the employee break room.
***Edit to say: Thank you for all the comments⦠made me laugh so much. We actually got some not great news - not the worst but found out she has Stage II maybe Stage III kidney disease so we got new prescription food for her. She is otherwise very happy and healthy and as soon as we got home, demanded breakfast and head scritches.

I lost my sweet Marcy girl yesterday due to FIP. She had been going downhill for a couple of days before I took her to the emergency vet. When I took her they diagnosed her with wet FIP, but the vet told me there was hope because there is medicine now. When I took her home the first night she was her bright self again but throughout the week got worse even with the medicine, not eating, lethargic etc. Saturday night I noticed her right eye wasnāt dilating, I immediately made a vet appointment for Monday. By Monday morning the eye had became so swollen and pus filled that I knew I couldnāt wait for the appointment later in the day and returned back to the hospital. The damage to her eye happened so quickly. They told me they werenāt sure what was going on with the eye, they assumed it was ocular FIP along with the wet, but it wouldāve needed to be taken out & they werenāt even sure if she would survive afterwards. We decided it was best to put her down and it was probably the hardest thing Iāve ever had to do. I lost my childhood dog last year in August as well, but she got to live a long life at 14 years old. This was different, my Marceline was just a baby. She literally didnāt even get a chance at life. She wasnāt even 4 months old. There are so many things I wanted to do with her, I had just bought her a harness to take her outside once she recovered. I really thought everything was gonna be okay. My heart is so broken.
In my last moments with her she crawled up on my chest and buried her face into my neck just like she did every night we slept together. I could tell she knew what was gonna happen. I sang her āRemember You Omnichordā from Adventure Time and she just purred on my chest. It was so fucking heartbreaking dude. We had such a strong connection, this cat was supposed to be in my life for as long as possible. I keep picturing her losing her life in my arms, it wonāt go away. </3. Life is so cruel sometimes. I love you so much Marcy you deserved better.
āMarceline, is it just you & me in the wreckage of the world? That must be so confusing for a little girl..ā
Edit: Thank you all for your sweet comments. It means a lot <3 She was such a gem, I had to share her with the world.

She is 5-6 weeks old according to the vet! We thought 4 til we saw her big girl teeth. She was found in the road by a friend of a friend, and brought to us since my wife and I have experience fostering tiny kittens. She has a nasty upper respiratory infection, but she has a great appetite, and the meds are clearing it up slowly but surely! Her eyes weren't gunky this morning, and she felt good enough to play for the first time.
I had a tortie growing up and she was an immediate foster fail as soon as I saw a pic of her š

I found this girl. The vet says sheās about and six weeks old. I was nervous for a couple of days because she was so weak, but sheās really starting to thrive! Do you guys think that sheās gonna be long-haired? I lost my soul cat, who was a Tortie, in November I feel like she sent her to me. ā¤ļø
