Be prepared for a denial.
I haven’t met one person who was approved by Social Security’s doctors.
They don’t use any specialized doctor to evaluate your case.
Their “Medical Director” tried to override my neurologist’s diagnosis. A world renowned neurologist, who, at the time, was the only doctor diagnosing & treating my chronic illness.
His letter submitted with my appeal was scathing. He came with me to my video conference with the judge & gave her quite the earful.

You could provide proof of your SSD case filing.

Good luck. Trailers are more complicated to maintain than people realize.
They require specialized training to replace plumbing & electrical.

We have a rotating group of people who either pool their financial resources or hold food drives at their organizations to ensure the local blessing boxes as full as possible.
There are days it is bare, and stays that way for a day. Especially on weekends when the food pantries are closed.
We leave notes in the blessing boxes to reach out to 2-1-1 for food emergencies, and a list of churches in the area that free community lunches/dinners.

It’s a daunting task I budget for because the need is so high.

An open SS case can take years. Mine took 4 years, with an attorney, and an “automatic approved” disability.

Do you understand all that goes into maintaining the trailer and the lot?
Do you understand that if you don’t maintain the trailer and the property, management has the right to give you notice to move your trailer? Yes, you own it, but mobile home parks have rules & regulations. If not followed the they have the right up ask you to move your trailer off their land.

Is this humble trailer on a managed community? Have you passed the background check & financial check?
Do you have a lease ready to sign?
How do you plan to maintain the trailer & the property?
Do you know the mobile home park can raise your lot fee 3% every year, and tack on “fees and taxes” to pay for “capital improvements.”
Owning a “humble trailer” in a managed community (basically an HOA) comes with many rules, regulations, and responsibilities.
You are “pursuing disability benefits.”
