Unless there's some sort of collab mechanic like Fever, she's probably dogwater. I'm doubtful cracked numbers are even possible considering she's a 5* Phys with what appears to be many hits, meaning particularly high DPH is unlikely. Worse than being bad though, she's boring. Ugh.

I really hope there's another mechanic, because not only does her S1 look bad, it looks offensively bad. Can't wait to write a rant about it.

I can't view kroosters (work block) so I'd suggest asking in the Help thread if you need specific advice. Kal2/Closure/Angie2 will definitely make your future easier.

The kernel tickets can only be spend on kernel banners, so there's really no other choice. We don't get them very often so it doesn't totally matter what you do with them. General advice is to save until you get 10 so you can at least grab the G5 if one comes alone with an appealing 5* selector, but it's a pretty minor optimization. The kernel tickets just don't have a lot of value.

Don't spend regular tickets on the kernel banners unless you absolutely must have a waifu/husbando.

Kernel banners are older units who have generally been powercrept. They’re also dual rate up meaning worse odds for what you want (this includes avoiding most standard banners). There’s a long stream of extremely powerful new and rerun banners coming up beginning with Kal2 in October so you should save for those.

Yup that definitely happened too. It'll be an unusual situation no matter which it is.

When I posted the datamine of this banner, there was a lot of discussion about Nowell since he's way ahead of schedule. Interestingly, in the Tweet announcement they list Vendela first even though she's not in the center. The shop op is usually listed first in the announcement. I suspect this is one of the extremely rare scenarios where they didn't put the shop op in the center! If true, it's something like only the third or fourth time since launch. Guess we'll see in a couple of days when it actually hits the game.

Honestly wouldn't surprise me. I have to imagine the standard/kernel banners are somewhat low priority, so it could easily be an intern not paying attention or something. We'll likely never know, unfortunately.

That was actually my first thought, however, the first update is in 12 days which is before the patch window and I'm not sure if there's a second update. I'm not good enough at datamining to confirm it either so I just left the speculation off.

Actually true. She's due for her second appearance too after fedex, so it would have been easy to insert her here (especially considering how early Nowell is). Maybe she's the banner after this?

Yes, it is. The 5*s tend to run faster, but Nowell skipped ahead several rotations for some reason. It's rare, but this isn't the first time it's happened. It's also possible the 5* isn't the center one, which is also rare and hasn't happened in years, but has happened. Most likely it's just a weird oddity.

It takes around 2 years, but they're running a little slow lately, so probably sometime around now next year.

He'll be added next update. I haven't totally decided how to handle it tho. In terms of pure gameplay, he's absolutely a Strong Pull, but I worry about how people will read that among the gauntlet of limited banners. I try to consider things purely from a gameplay perspective, but I know there's a not insignificant number of people who will do something like skip Orchid for him then get mad at me because they didn't read the guidelines.

In terms of affecting others, it probably will. I don't like to have too many in Strong Pull (if everyone is special, no one is), so he could very well prevent a Yato upgrade. But again, I'll have to think about how people read it before a commit to anything.

Small programming note, but there is no new banner datamine this time! The next update on the 20th is before anything rotates, so there's no new banners right now, but expect some next week.

I have vague plans to do a web version of the tier list, but nothing concrete yet. It's a bigger project than the Mastery guide and there's some other stuff to handle as well. It'll probably happen eventually, but not soon.

As for the "Should You Pull", do you mean the rest of the article? I intentionally decided not to do that for now because I didn't want to fully replace the Sanity;Gone and LD sites. That could change in the future and it's something I'm thinking about. If you happened to mean the pull priorities instead, they're here.

Yay someone mentioned the blog post~ I wrote it entirely for fun, but it's always nice to see people acknowledge the random extras.

A few months ago I was thinking she'd fall to Lean Skip, despite the fact I quite like her and being a collab (I try not to overvalue the limited part in the suggestions). However, she's actually proven to be really valuable in IS7! I'm not sure it's enough to bump her up to Strong Pull (esp competing with Yato, can't put everyone in Strong Pull), but things are looking pretty good for her value.
