Not sure if anyone saw but the normal presale is happening at the same time as our Spirit exclusive one. The image below of sections 131-123 shows which seats were available to purchase in the Spirit exclusive presale, you can see huge blocks are greyed out, especially the front rows. I went into the normal presale and sure enough, they had all the front rows available there. And before you ask, we did not get a better price, the seats cost the same in both presales. It's pretty lame that they didn't give our "exclusive" sale access to those front rows or at least let us know ahead of time that we needed to sign up for the general presale if we wanted those rows

Im going to be bringing an infant to a game this fall and I'm trying to figure things out. I see that diaper bags have to abide by the normal bag policy size. Does anyone know if baby carriers are allowed? I dont remember ever seeing someone with one at the games.

I asked some questions about the game yesterday as we were getting ready to come watch a game for the first time.

Everyone was super helpful so I figured it would be fair to come back and report on how it went.

PROS: Everyone was super chill. The game was good fun. We were positively surprised at how inclusive the event was and that motivated us to come back. The Hello Kitty collab was a nice touch.

CONS: The food was overpriced as everyone stated but better than what I would expect for stadium grub.

The sun kicked our asses (seating in section 117) and now I know to buy tickets in the shaded section next time. Kudos to the guys who were going up and down the stairs selling fresh drinks.

Overall it was a great experience.

We came a little too early I think so with the sun it made the day feel long.

Having grown up in Europe and used to games there I was surprised at how small the tifosi section, and at how late some people showed up. Most of the rows around me were empty and people kept arriving even after half time.

At any rate 10/10 will come back.

Clearly I am out of touch, because that was the most aggressive entrance to a match in the last several seasons. We had full grown adults pushing past us all the way from navy yard metro to jockey into position for the bucket hat.

I didn't watch the match, but some other stat highlights were: 5 dribbles (100% success rate, most dribbles in match), won 7 ground duels (100% rate), and 9 recoveries & 7 clearances. Stat to work on would be passing accuracy (low for a centerback).

Watching the World Cup got me motivated to come and see a game in person and to introduce my wife to the game. What are your best tip to enjoy the day?

I’ve spent some time reading the stadium rules and tips people give on this sub like:

1. Free parking is available at Anacostia Metro and it’s a nice walk to the stadium
2. The Nats are having a game around the same time so the area might be hard to navigate
3. No large bags, no reusable bottle allowed.
4. I’ve been told we should visit the Fan Zone to get some sort of stamp commemorating coming for the first time.
5. I’ve read there is a rooftop but not sure if it’s open after the game and/or worth taking a look.

Any other tips or recommendation you might have ?

How do you guys like the food options at the stadium ?

At the start of the season I purchased a unisex XL cherry blossom kit but the fit is just too big on me and I’ve worn it maybe 2-3 times because of it. I’m kind of hoping someone has a large they’d wanna swap it for, either the unisex or women’s cut 🙏🏻 I’ll be at the bay fc match tomorrow to make it super easy!
