It's the 1st of September today, a very important day in the Wizarding world. But I'm just thinking since morning that it's not gonna be the same from next year. There will be a new Harry Potter, new Hogwarts, everything is gonna change. The new generation will see Harry Potter through a different lens, they might not even watch the movies.

Honestly, the movies did you so dirty 😭

Book Ginny was confident, funny, fierce, an amazing Quidditch player, and had an actual personality. Movie Ginny was basically reduced to “Harry’s love interest who says awkward things.” 💀

They really took one of the coolest Weasleys and said: yeah, let's barely give her any character development. 😭

One of the reasons I’m actually excited for the upcoming show is to finally see Ginny as she was meant to be portrayed — confident, funny, badass, and so much more than just Harry’s girlfriend. 🔥
