System Apocalypse is a sub genre of the litrpg space, usually having an all powerful system show up on earth, introducing everyone to classes and status screens. Wondering if anyone has attempted to cross this with Worm's already present superhero apocalypse(ish) scenario.

Or if that isn't available, any other Worm + other apocalypse genre. Moonshot by ShaperV fits this theme by having the moon exploded and about to cause a nuclear winter. Maybe there's a zombie apocalypse fanfic or Matrix style fanfic or whatever. Just something else in the mix combined with all the typical Worm issues.

I think I remember reading a wildbow post that faulting was originally going to be the main character of worm and was interested in how that may play out

Kinda odd request, but I feel like with how Taylor is, she’d be willing to exploit every single part of this. So yeah, does anybody know any fics where Taylor can make substances that boost her but come with a drawback?

After reading a lot of both canon and fanfic, I want to try writing my first worm fanfic, i want to at least try to keep the characters personalities as close to cannon as possible, and I already have some ideas of how the story will grow, but I still feel like is not enough. Any help?

I've realized that some of my favorite fics have included Taylor doing genuinely awful things and struggling to rationalize and process that she's not a good person in any sense any more. So many fics have the MC kill tons of people or do other fucked up stuff, but then breeze past the mental ramifications of that kinda thing either by not addressing it at all or by saying basically "eh she's a badass so it doesn't affect her." I love some stories like this, but it's far more interesting when the MC has to come to terms with their actions not aligning to their own morality anymore.

Super extra bonus points if they are very very bad at dealing with that, like in Ants In My Brain or Juchu Kaisen. While it's still ongoing and hasn't really gotten to this point, Crucible is definitely super good and also probably gonna do this thing a lot. Zero Faultline Collision also kinda does this but in a fun unreliable narrator way where Taylor doesn't realize how badly she's managing her emotions and just... takes more drugs to get past it, which was fun to read but less satisfying than the others I've listed.

I was looking forward to both Centipede and Monster, but they both kinda handwaved the whole "Taylor murders a lot of people, how does she deal with that" thing by having her power change her brain basically. They were still good though!

Can be Taylor or anyone else, doesn't matter as long as it's good!

I'm looking for fics that have an OP Taylor that just wants to left alone and not want to deal with cape nonsense. Other requirements are that she does actually have the power to it back up and that the fic shows someone new to town fuck around and find out.

As per the title I'm looking for fics in which the MC is borderline op. A good example would be not being able to kill an endbringer but being able to at least directly affect the outcome of an endbringer battle such as drastically decreasing the amount of casualties/environmental damage or driving one off early.

Also preferred but optional are fics that are at least semi-serious.

I vaguely remember a fic where Taylor joins the wards, can't remember if voluntarily or not, and is transfered to New York. There Taylor by some misunderstanding makes Flechette think that she is either Rune rebranded or at least associated with the E88.

I think it was because Taylor was a bit standoffish because the similarities in costume between Flechette and Shadow Stalker.

I can't get enough of the post-GM fics where the events of Gold Morning have completely traumatized Taylor. The Weaving Force and Khepri: Golden Dawn being good examples of what I'm looking for. Copacetic to a lesser degree. There was a Peggy sue fic where she goes back to bug powers and starts her own vigilante team that I couldn't enjoy at all because she seemed to to just brush the whole thing off. Any recommendations?

Taylor never goes to camp and is with Emma when she is attacked by the ABB she triggers and attempts to save Emma, with Emma being hit by a stray bullet and unable to feel her legs.

I just finished reading "Fruits of a Demonic Tree," which features the Undersiders as brutalized antagonists, and I want more!
