Mirrored world. A WarcraftXL extension for WoW 3.3.5
An extension i made to work with WarcraftXL. Have you ever played 2000 hours of WoW and got that "same old, same old" feeling. Ever want to run around like you're a a dementia patient?
Mirrored world does one simple thing, it mirrors the games render horizontally. keeping all controls intact. but horizontally inverting the whole world. leaving the world you've known so well, unrecognizable.

Thats crazy. Such a small change and yet why does it make it feel so different? its really interesting. At first i thought nothing of it, but by the end, i had the feeling that it was a much bigger change than i thought.

omg thats crazy - if you know the feeling of playing a mirrored mario kart track it kinda feels like a completly new track
I wonder if you can keep text unmirrored though lol

If you could figure out how to de-invert the nameplates I would absolutely plug this into my local build. Would finally make WoW feel new again.

now we just need an extension that changes the pitch of all the music tracks to G-minor for the complete audiovisual overhaul experience

Funny story. I was making a custom mmo using only wow's models as a temporary stopgap until I decided to pay for Tripo. And I had accidently did this unknowingly. Thunderbluff just didn't look quite right and it dawned on me at some point that everything was mirrored.

There should be a reversed, and mirrored + reversed version also for additional feeling of going crazy

The amount of backtracking I'd be doing after years of instilled leveling memory would be so frustrating. Mindlessly running to a quest area ive done 100 times, only to realize its in the other direction...good lord.
