Google Play Production Access Rejected? Here's What Many Developers Miss
I have noticed that many Android developers complete the 14-day closed test but still struggle when applying for Production Access.
Some common issues include:
• Using exactly 12 testers with no additional backup testers
• Testers becoming inactive during the 14-day testing cycle
• Most testers using the same device brand or model
• Limited device diversity across Android versions
• Testers coming from a single geographic region only
• Low app engagement after initial installation
• Testers opening the app only once and never returning
• No real-world usage patterns being generated
• Missing testing across different screen sizes
• No testing on low-end Android devices
• No testing on tablets or foldable devices (if supported)
• Lack of crash and ANR monitoring during testing
• Ignoring Play Console pre-launch report warnings
• Poor bug reporting and feedback collection
• Testers uninstalling the app before the cycle ends
• Incomplete responses in the Production Access application
• Not documenting how feedback was incorporated
• Testing only core features while ignoring edge cases
• No validation of account creation, login, or payment flows
• Missing network condition testing (Wi-Fi vs mobile data)
• Failure to verify app behavior across multiple Android versions
• No monitoring of retention and engagement metrics
• Last-minute testing activity concentrated in a few days
• Lack of evidence that testers explored multiple app features
• Not addressing policy, privacy, or permission-related concerns before applying
I am looking for Android testers for Stop Snus, an app I have built to help people gradually reduce their use of snus (nicotine pouches) or cigarettes and eventually quit.
The main feature is a guided reduction plan. You enter your current daily use, choose how quickly you want to reduce, and the app creates a day-by-day plan leading to your quit date.
You can log your daily use, follow your progress, see how much money you are saving, view detailed statistics and forecasts, unlock milestones, and get practical help when cravings hit.
Stop Snus is already available on the iOS App Store. I now need testers to help me complete the Android closed test before releasing it on Google Play.
Please remain opted in for at least 14 days. I would really appreciate it if you could use the app during the test and let me know if anything is confusing, broken, or could be improved.
As a thank you, every tester who creates an account will receive one month of Premium for free. I have to activate this manually, so please send me a DM with the email address used in the app and allow me a little time to add it.
The app currently supports English, Danish, German, Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish.
I am happy to test your Android app in return. Leave your links in the comments or send me a DM.
I made a small boardgame on Android. I need 12 testers for 14 days in order to unlock production status.
You would really help me by becoming a tester and test this game for 14 days.
I need 20 active testers for my Flutter app Knowledge Nuts to complete the 14-day Google Play requirement. I will happily test your app back for the full 14 days in return!

I'm running the 14-day closed test for my puzzle game Hollywood Alchemy and need testers to meet Google Play's production requirement. Happy to swap - I will opt into your test, install, and keep your app for the full 14+ days.
What the game actually is, in case you want to play it:
You start with Water, Fire, Earth, Air and merge your way to 486 elements. The twist is that 648 films are hidden in the recipe table, and finding one is the goal.
Cat + Horse = The Godfather
Boxing Glove + Stairs = Rocky
Soap + Dynamite = Fight Club
Every recipe is hand-written. No ads required to finish, works offline, no account needed, English and Turkish.
Swap: reply with your Google Group and Play opt-in links and I'll join yours. I'm keeping all swapped apps installed for the full 14 days, please do the same.
Leave your links with a screenshot of my installed app and illl test for yours !

Hi! I’m looking for at least 12 real testers to help test Master Chess Pro before its public release on Google Play.
Please keep the app installed for at least 14 days and test it regularly — ideally around 5 minutes per day. Play games, explore the features, and let me know if you find any bugs or problems.
🌐 Online Chess: Play online against other players, test matchmaking, build your profile, and try the online features.
👑 Premium: You can also test Premium features if they are available for your tester account.
🧪 Please actually use the app during the testing period rather than only installing it. Regular testing and feedback will help me improve Master Chess Pro and complete the Google Play closed-testing process.
