Video Games Ikari Warriors
My friends and I had lots of fun playing Ikari Warriors on console. The game was released at a time when military-themed Hollywood action movies were popular.
You all had a great time playing this port of Ikari Warriors?

Music What ’80s song hits differently when you actually listen to the lyrics?
There are songs from the decade that we still love—and then there are songs where you hear the lyrics today and wonder how casually we accepted what they were saying.
I'm not talking simply about profanity or words that have become taboo. I'm thinking about songs that treated behavior that we see differently today.
What's a song you loved back then that makes you uncomfortable now?
For me, “Seventeen” by Winger and “I Want Action” by Poison are two that come to mind.

Interview (1980) New Robert Hays 'Airplane!' Interview: Robert and Julie Hagerty remain friends decades later + 10 Hilarious Behind-The-Scenes Stories
"Leslie had a little "machine" — nobody really knew about it in Hollywood then, but now everyone does. It became legendary. It was a little thing he put in his hand and squeezed, and it was basically a fart machine. It was like a handheld whoopee cushion, and he just played it like a maestro. Your eyes would be watering, you're laughing so hard."
