DE 6MT Driver side window getting stuck

I have a 2005 350z. My driver's side window recently stopped working but sometimes it randomly decides to work. Has anyone else had this problem? Also what's the best way to tell if it's a bad motor, bad master switch, bad fuse, or something else? Thank you in advance.

a known issue with the Z starting as far back as 1989. cheap replacement motors last a few years if the regulator is correctly (and painstakingly) adjusted. the grease trail shows that the motor head is slipping.

I paid a horrific amount for an OEM window motor but eight years and 90k miles later it hasn't even started to leave a grease trail.

Almost guarantee it the small window motor it’s kind of a pain to swap out but can be done in an hr or so. Here is a link to the cheap one I used but like the other comment said it had lasted me abt 3 years and crapped out again so your choice lol.
