Getting scammed?

Hi,

Im about to purchase a Nintendo 3DS XL new, and the seller sent me this picture to verify authenticity, but my Ai sense is tingling.

When does the console shows this screen. Isn't it supposed to go to the home screen after turning it on?

The world rally screen is from the marketplace post. Notice the yellow part that is not present on the picture they sent. Also they said the panels are IPS.

Could you verify me?

Some budget phones ship with low-quality cameras that use AI to "enhance" the image after taking the photo. It's not clear if this image is entirely AI-generated or if it's a phone automatically AI-altering the image, I'd err on the side of caution and avoid this listing.

Yes, the orange LED is the wireless signal LED. When it's on, it is using it's wireless functions.

It's automatically enabled, as during setup you can connect a network. It just means that wireless adapters are enabled, and it's confirming it. Just like the old Disk indicator lights when we had hard disks.

The console can also still streetpass without being set up (presumably for factory testing) on certain dev applications and games when skipping/bypassing setup with a cart.

It turns on automatically on first setup, it doesn't mean it is paired to a wifi

Ich glaube, das ist eine Gruppe mit Sitz in Österreich.  In dieser Preisklasse gibt es drei Angebote, und zwei der Verkäufer haben mir innerhalb von zwei Minuten mit sehr ähnlichen Antworten auf meine Fragen geantwortet.

Am Ende habe ich dann lieber einen über eBay bestellt.

There is no definite way to verify an IPS screen in an online purchase other than a program you have to download on the 3ds that tells it, as for the screen on the first pic i think its just a custom splash, a custom splash is like a custom bootup screen.
