CAD progress
Here is where I am as of today. This is the exact suspension fitment my 85 is running with 35x12.50x15s.
Ill begin modelling the axles and suspension very soon, then for the engine.

I have my engine on a stand if that helps. It’s for my 85. I also have an 89. If you need any pics.

I have an 85 runner with no lift and 35s.

Tight fit?

Little trimming but yes. It does not flex anyway hahaha. IFS outers and hat rotors help in the front and spacers in the rear.

Nice. I have the 63" swap in the back, but have skyjacker +3 springs. And trail gear 6" up front. And a minor body lift.

The 6in fronts were not too high?
My 85 is eat up with cancer. I have an 86 shell. Just body and frame with no rust that I have SAS. I’m going to be running tundra rears with 3in all pro springs up front. Trying to round up wheels now since I have to run 17s or up with my newer calipers and vented rotors.

No it actually sits level. Id like to do a brake swap but I really want to stay with 15s. Im looking into my options for the rear axle. Once I have a scan of it I can start researching what will fit.

Let's 3D print it with metal by section and sell the parts to enthusiasts that want to weld the whole kit!

The truck would weigh as much as a 2500 haha.
Probably better off 3d printing the sheet metal forming dies.

What can you do with this ?

Howdy, there is a lot that i can do with this data. It can be used to prototype parts, design tooling to reproduce parts, plan out modifications etc. It is geometrically paired to my first Gen so it opens up a lot of doors.
The ability to reproduce the inclinometers is something I want to do.
I do quite a bit of rapid prototyping at work and want to experiment with some ideas that I have had for a while.
