I’ve been doing the annual 52-book reading challenge since 2018. The prompts are entertaining to contemplate and fulfill. I’ve been completing the challenge by June or July so I just do all 52 prompts again or do favorite prompts three or more times.

This year, that bored me. So I found another 52-book reading challenge to complete my secondary 52 books. I looked at other challenges like Popsugar (HARD pass!) and chose the TBR Takedown 2026 challenge. Some very interesting prompts that lit my brain up and enticed me with some new books to consider.

The red background books are read and rated. Black background books are yet to read. Black background books with stars are rereads. It’ll be interesting how many I can read in four months. 😎

I’ve now changed my reading goal from 60 to 75 in the year woo!

I was wondering, since quite a lot of books are getting turned into movies and tv shows which book/book series you don't want adapted?

For me it'll have to be "The Folk of the Air" trilogy.

I would love to hear what you guys have to say! 🤗

Edit: this is no hate to Holly Black and her work as an author, it's just that I can't see the trilogy as a live action adaptation, I see it more as an animated series!!

I used to think some readers were a little too attached to their reading habits. I never really understood why people kept old bookmarks or collected things related to books they loved. My thought was pretty simple: the important part is the story itself. Once you finish the book, why keep all these extra things?

My whole view flipped when I read The Little Prince during a really tough few months. The story was lovely, but what stuck with me way more was everything about that hard time.

After that, I started understanding why some readers enjoy having things that connect with books beyond the pages. Sometimes it’s just a quiet way of carrying something that matters to you.

I’ve seen brands like pagewings create book-inspired designs around this idea. What I find interesting is that it’s less about putting random quotes on clothing and more about creating something that connects with the feeling of being someone who carries stories with them.

The more I read, the more I realize that reading can affect the way you think and sometimes even the way you see yourself. That’s probably why I don’t think I’ll ever stop reading. There will always be another story waiting to show me a different way of seeing life.

Slower months but that’s okay. Total count comes to 42 books!

I recently started to reading fantasy and ı am thinking about reading dark fantasy. But ı recently read Six of crows and ı am currently reading crooked kingdom. I love how Matthias and Nina flirt. When ı said ı love I MEAN İT. Their dynamic was soo fun to read. So ı want something similar.(ı am also open to non-fantasy but at least sci-fi or somethıng with a actıon would be my preference)

I’ve noticed that many digital books:

- Start strong but lose momentum

- Repeat familiar ideas without adding real value

- Or are well-written but leave no lasting impact

My honest question:

What bothers you most about digital books (especially translations or books from different cultures)?

Have you read a digital book that truly respected your time?

Hi Everyone!

I recently made a literary blog because I am an avid and overopinionated reader but I don’t really use any social media. I am also a math major (some of us can read!), so it’s theme is based on the intersection of math and literature in my life. It took quite some time to get it all going but I’m happy with how it’s looking now, plus I just published my reviews for June, so I would love to share it and receive some feedback!

My goal for this year is 45 books since I’m also a student, but I’m a bit ahead at 25 so far and I’m hoping I might make it to 50. I hope I can offer some suggestions to help you all reach a prosperous 52!
