Gear Handmade Aluminum Pickguard
Snapped a string today and took the opportunity to do a little project I’ve been wanting to for awhile. Popped the neck pickup out (that I never use) and made a handmade aluminum pickguard from some sheet I had in the barn.

lol it was not, but that guitar is still iconic. I’ve just made a variety of Pickguards for my guitars and always wanted to make an aluminum one.

Side note: Does anyone else have hand fatigue/pain with these necks? I swear I’ve never had any issues with other guitars but something about the size and shape of this guitar’s neck always kills me. I wish so badly it wasn’t, because I love the guitar otherwise

Looks a lot better without the middle pickup
