My girlfriend and I are trying to play together on the new update, however when we try to join each other we just get hit with "connecting to server" for a hot while and then it times out. We tried launching w/o EAC and turned it off on the server, and we tried to find our server with a password on the browser but still get stuck at connecting to server. Is multiplayer broken in the new update or are we doing something wrong?

The wiki didn't necessarily help, and I just did a combine not 5 minutes ago and it gave it the typical asterisk. But this one gave a plus sign. Any idea what the difference is?

Prior to 3.0 update, the wife and I played with the War3zuk’s Farmlife mod. It boosted her enjoyment in the game and overall added amazing content. Well, the mod hasn’t been updated for 3.0 and I can’t find anything that confirms it will. Does anyone know any mods that work with the new update and are similar to War3zuk’s Farmlife. I appreciate any recommendations!

Hi guys, I'm playing the latest vanilla update when to my shock I was exiting Rekt's screen door and encountered a dire wolf outside which damn near killed me. No, I didn't leave the gates open and it didn't follow me in.

Of interest, there was a pack of regular wolves outside apparently accompanying the DW, but only the DW got inside the closed compound.

Its barely any faster, maybe like 25% faster. But now I'm running out of gas constantly. Apparently it needs like 30k gas to fill up? How can I reliably get gas?

Update: it did indeed let me restart the mission lol it made me wait until 6:53am to click it, and when I did it restarted and reset everything. So I lost the mission completion XP, but gained a second infestation crate AND it didn't go down as a failed mission lol

Second update: not only did it let me restart the mission and not fail me for not turning it in, it's actually letting me turn it in TWICE to the same trader!

So I just finished this tier 6 infestation, walked back to my gyro and the flag is still there. I go up and it prompts me to start the mission as if I hadn't yet, but when curiosity had me click it, it said "Quest not available until 6:53".

I've never seen either of these things happen before, and (((no))) I did not have 2 missions lined up for the same location.

Just an interesting thing I found. Gunna wait until the time and see if it lets me do it again for the extra infestation crate lol

Why are there no roads connecting anything, theres a giant river cutting it in half, so an area 500m away is more like 4000m away with all the driving around you have to do. The bridges are all broken. How is this supposed to be fun? I'm just constantly jumping in the river and swimming across, theres barely any roads to drive on. What a terrible map!.

Title for further elaboration basically iirc killing zombies in a poi would increase loot drop values based on the difficulty of the poi I'm not sure how changes have been made with land claim blocks and such but if anyone can tell me If this is still a valid strategy I would love to use it

I realised of my thousands of play hours I only ever played a few in multiplayer and was curious how you all enjoy the game.

I am simply (begging) for passengers to be able to fire weapons whilst inside a vehicle.

the only difference i made was that i placed the the folder of the copie inside the common folder of steam together with all other steam games and i didn't copied the game filed to a new folder but i directly made a copy of the game folder, i launched the game trough the 7DaysToDie.exe file inside the UL folder but instead of getting the UL game im getting a broken version of the regular game.

So quick run down.

Running 7dtd on 3.0.1 on Blue something or other server hosting. We are all in game; amoung us 1 person does not seem to be offered quests by Rekt.

I have tried making them admin and resetting their quest states; deleting their quests (as they died during 2 quests so never finished; one of which was the buried treasure) and tried resetting their achievements; still no job offered.

Even when they are admin there is no "do you have any jobs" dialogue.

Suggestions? Ideas?

This is the XBox version if that makes any difference.

Long story short, I had this grand idea of a base surrounded by a deep trench to defend myself - unfortunately, it's turned into an absolute nightmare of constant maintenance, as the zombies that fall into it simply hammer on the external walls and surrounding soil. For all the safety it's brought me, I pay in time and effort...

To that end, I was thinking of tunneling into a mountain and living like some demented mole person. Problem is, I feel I might be setting myself up for almost an identical problem. The intent is to fortify a single entry point but leave it "accessible" to the zombies, effectively giving myself one corridor to defend, but it's my understanding that they will simply bypass this and start clawing their way through the mountain's top and sides.

The stuff I've googled kind of makes me head spin and seems to assume I have a degree in physics. Is there, like, an idiot's guide to this (admittedly overly ambitious) idea? Id rather not just disable block destruction outright.

For those who do, which setting do you use to control incoming damage in your custom settings? Do you increase all damage taken or just from enemies?

I haven’t played since maybe when the first few versions came out. Got this game maybe half a year ago until my laptop took a hit and now it’s a whole new version again so I’m completely out of the loop. Any recommendations on YT accounts or specific videos to help out? I basically altered the sandbox settings to weenie hut junior levels just to get a feel again, did my first week on it but I need more tips!! TIA!!

So I've played a lot of 7 days days. Both modded and vanilla. I found myself being extremely bored without the mods and that's what started the whole thing.

I had played with a few mods, all which have been amazing, but I'm looking for a good mod that's got a lot to it. I'm looking for a mod that's very in depth of things to do and craft.

Looking for something that's a challenge not just a mod that is too easy.

It took 2 months, but I finally made an updated modlist for all of those who are interested.  I currently play on V3.1, but I think all of these mods are up to date for 3.2 (I stick to one version for each playthrough).

I originally created an area shattered by a tactical nuke strike on Higashi Pharmaceutical.  Wildlife and plants are flourishing, but the threats have multiplied: Private Military Contractors scour the land, killing everything on sight to secure closely guarded evidence.  Bandits exercise brute strength against the locals.  A handful of citizens, soldiers, and vigilantes are attempting to secure holdouts that can be used for rescue and further operations.
