Season 5 Another Plot Hole

So I thought that in season one, they talked about how Naomi and Annie’s half brother was given up for adoption 19 years prior to season one. So by season 5, Mark should be 24/25. But when they discussed his kids, they’re 11 years old, which would put him have them at 13/14 years old.

He was given up for adoption 23 years ago. But yes, I have issues with it all…. Because if he was given up 23 years ago, Jen would be 21ish (figure a year to meet mr. Clark and a year for pregnancy). The time works for Harry, but not for Tracy and her subsequent family.

Edited to add: I’m not sure Olivier would marry someone so young…. Not sure that she’d be able to do half the things she does… So it’s always been a big plot hole for me.

but what makes all that confusing is that Jen had graduated from yale, so unless she was an early grad, she’d have to be at least 22.

A lot of dramas throw in this plot line for the parents and it always plays out terribly. They always bring in the kid when they are running out of ideas.

oh for sure. i can’t tell you how many times ive seen this happen. I would just figure since this was a story from day one, they would of actually kept up with it, but i guess not lol
