CMLA

Is there any update on CMLA and when we will find out if we got it. Also will our cadre tell us or will it show up in wings?

So when I got it three years ago, Cadre had reached out to me and the other cadets regarding it’s status and to schedule a time to take the oath of enlistment. That was it for my process, if it’s different now I’m unaware but unfortunately reddit is probably not going to be able to help

Cadre emailed us last week to ask if we wanted to activate an AFROTC scholarship (presumably CMLA) and said Fall AFROTC scholarships would probably not be processed until the first week of October.

Did anyone get a va contract payment in their Burser account around 8/14? What is that if it is not the scholarship?

A lot of schools have agreements with AFROTC where they will credit your account so that you don’t have to make payment with the assumption that the AF will pay it later. The AF will not make payment for tuition until the new fiscal year. That does not mean that you got the scholarship, just that your detachment and the school are working as such in a forward thinking manner.

CMLA’s were awarded. Not everyone who was supposed to get one, got one. They are working to correct that. Talk to your cadre.
