I would set it to the max boost advertised by the manufacturer

This is the fix for many of these cards that are randomly crashing

In those games you are CPU bound anyway. No need for any special GPU tuning

7900xtx runs those games without even breaking a sweat

Good point, I mainly just like having whatever I can as optimized as possible but you’re completely correct.

If you wanna optimize your GPU performance you can undervolt it. Ancient gameplays has good tutorials for that.

But you can't just copy some settings cause each GPU is stable at different values

I suggest just running stock settings.

just leave everything off except for fsr upscaling upgrade and freesync premium or vrr in the display tab. everything else tends to be on a user specific scenario. for tuning the card you could watch ancient gameplays on yt. i have mine with 2500mhx max, 1120 mv on the voltage, 0% pw limit with a custom fan curve.

From Radeon Adrenaline software just add Anti-Lag and disable anything else from Gaming->Graphics. Then go to Performance tab and try Undervolt GPU. Remember that number. Then manual tuning. Set max core Hz to what Asrock gives to that card (I have 7900XTX Hellhound so 2525MHz) and undervolt to that auto undervolt (1120mV). Set max fanspeed 75-100%. Power Tuning max voltage. This is simple way and works for me. You can try manually undervolt and set max clock speeds but AMD has already stability issues lately so.
