happy Monday y'all! i'm back with what is my second post ranking pictures of a cycle I've never personally watched. it was an interesting ride in C7 and HOOOOH boy. before getting into it, I want to remind you that pics are ranked top left to bottom right, worst to best.

beyond interesting – the photoshoots this cycle were more normal, ig, than last cycle's (though can someone explain to me why they had an Elvis and Marilyn shoot in KOREA? and the promo pics this time around are mostly fucking terrible) – it cements the fact that irregardless of the scoring system, this show couldn't have ever claimed to base its eliminations on the quality of the pictures because by looking at these, the elim order is completely out of whack. i had the same experience with C7. and ofc, nothing speaks to this fact more than the winner of this cycle and Lenox's just highway robbery.

"i have an idea: why don’t we get a cast of very talented girls and mediocre men, eliminate the most promising guys early on, and THEN eliminate all the girls so that a mediocre guy can win because we couldn’t justify it last time??” – Tyra this cycle, probably

And finally, Leah is out! I really wanted to see her in the final because it's my favorite photo of the group, besides being the inspiration for this game, but I'm still happy with her good third place. It's an underrated photo; she nailed that pose (it might look like basic modeling, but look at Ann's pose, who also has her hands on her hips—Leah does it with style). She's showing off a gorgeous profile, and that swimsuit looks amazing on her; it's a perfect advertisement. The only thing that bothers me about the photo is that her left arm is a bit underlit, but other than that, it's a good photo.
