Ya that's wrong (you're right). Standard retrievals typically finish within 12 hours, it's a hair close for that kind of question, since AWS says "TYPICALLY", there is no quarentee though. It's the too smart for your own good question if you don't just blind fire on the "cheapest solution out of what's available" line of thinking.

S3 Glacier Instant Retrieval can retrieve data in milliseconds, but that extra speed isn’t really needed here, and it comes with a higher storage cost compared to Deep Archive.

And here, folks, is why delegating your thinking to AI will bite you in the butt sometimes. A very pretty wording for a very wrong conclusion.
Let's test the logic. You need to get from A to B in 10 hours or less and are looking for the cheapest way to get there. Friend X says "I can get you there in less than 1 hour, it will cost you $100". Friend Y says "I can get you there for just $5, depending on traffic it will take me between 10 and 20 hours". You OBVIOUSLY would not choose Friend Y.

Did you use AI? The aws docs themselves are pretty clear that deep archive is the cheapest s3 storage and data is available WITHIN 12hrs. That question couldnt have been any easier

Lol WHAT? The question asks you to have the data in 12 hours or less, a requirement that Deep Archive does NOT meet, no matter if it’s the cheapest option. You should learn to read and think, I even made an analogy that anyone could understand.

TD has an online forum, one forum for each exam type. Those forums are heavily monitored if you post the question issue there in the right spot they will correct and respond pretty quickly. I've reported 3-4 questions or issues with questions selection (like "SELECT TWO" not working ..) and they've responded fast when reported on the forum
