Absinthe Depot is an excellent store. I think I bought something from there once. I just looked through their under-50 bottles online and unfortunately there are none I’ve tried except La Clandestine, which I don’t really like. Mansinthe is supposed to be decent but I’ve never tried it.

This site has some trustworthy reviews:

Absinthe Depot is a lovely little place, good selection. When I was there I bought a small bottle of Butterfly, can recommend. If you tell the bartender you want a traditional style, he can most likely give you good recommendations.

Pernod is a classic, safe and reasonably priced choice. Definitely not the best, but it is a decent absinthe, easy to find, perfect as an entry-level. If you like it, then you can start exploring more niche and expensive brands

If you are in Berlin, The Absinthe Depot is the only place to go. The owner Martial is well known in the absinthe community and real character. He even has an absinthe named after him, produced by Aymonier.
It’s very good. You can also try before you buy.
As others have said, he carries a large range of true absinthes and should you wish he also sells reproduction glasses, spoons etc

Depends what's available, if you want to order online I would recommend Absinthe.de.

They sell the Duplais Verte by Matter for example. This was my start.

The Francois Guy or the Absinthe authentic by Pernot are also nice for beginners and not that expensive.

Seems like a legit store with authentic Absinthe for sale, they'll surely help you find something if you stop by.

You can buy from Alandia online! They have lots of wonderful absinthes!

I recommend anything from the Jade (Terminus Oxygénée is my favorite of the Jades!), and Grön Opal and Vit Opal are great options!

La Fee, Pernod Absinthe, and La Clandestine are decent options, and reasonably priced.
