I’m not trying to be weird but does the ears being that floppy cause any health or other issues and if so why is it done

its done cause people like the way they look and buy them. in rabbits flop eared breeds are usually deaf. idk how it is for these cats or cats in general. all excesive breeding for traits REQUIRES interbreeding. when you interbreed, mutations that cause problems and resesive traits become more and more common. im not going deeper than that feel free too look up more if you want. also dont support anything dwarf cat related ever. also feel free to look that up but trust. its details i wish i didnt know. just dont.

Yup, like hip dysplasia in many breeds and those who are cancer factories (lookin’ at you Goldens and Boxers!)

Jesus. The breeding has gone way overboard.
The flop ears were worrying 15 years ago when we actively bred orientals and cat IV. But I didn't realise it's gotten this insane.
