Just moved!
Hi! I’m 24F, and just moved from New Mexico to Addison! I’m looking to make some new friends and get to know the area, what are some good spots to visit?

If you're looking to make friends and get in a fun workout, try out a dance class at DivaDance North Dallas. I was a transplant here several years ago, started taking classes in 2022, & made a lot of friends/community. Even if that's not your thing, I highly recommend joining a club of some sort (running, book, etc) that can be your "third space." It'll make the transition to a new city much smoother.

Addison circle has restaurants and bars. I've met a few ppl at the park in Addison and they have events throughout the year at the park. Restaurants and bars and shops all up and down beltline road. It just depends on what you are into and like Addison/far North Dallas has a lot to offer it's a pretty huge area

Best Thai. It’s unironically the best thai restaurant in DFW imo. Taqueria Nuevo León has the best tacos in the area. Addison Sushi is the best sushi spot in the area. The Londoner is one of the best bars in the area. You’re gonna be eating good around here.
