Had a lot of fun with this but, I feel like this could have been better. Not sure where I went wrong -- maybe the colors are too dark? Anybody have thoughts/ideas?

Finally getting around to sharing some more finished pages! Mostly alcohol markers with some extra highlights and details. A little bit of everything in this one. 😊
And thanks to whoever's been downvoting along the way, appreciate the dedication 😂

I just got the color by number Jade Summer book and I’m going to use it to practice things like shadows, highlights, glowing effects, texture, etc.
Here’s my first page before and after 🪩
-I used colored pencils for the lighter shading in the floor and for the highlights in her hair
-I used a white gel pen for highlights
-tried an acrylic marker over the yellow stars, but it didn’t turn out how I envisioned
Any tips, tricks, tutorials are welcome!

Enquanto eu estou esperando o médico, na sala de espera eu vou passando o tempo pintando Bobbie Goods, literalmente esperando o médico chamar, só estou com dificuldade de fazer texturas, com a caneta Touch 24 cores...

I have finished a few more. I ran my red pencil down to a nub. I think its because its a cheap color pencil box, the pencil kept breaking , So i need to grab another. Last pic is a new project lol.

All from various Colouring Heaven Issues
Picture 1) i really loved doing this one, i just finished this one today. 4 different families of bunnies and i gave them names lol top left to bottom right; The Blackwoods, The Goldsmiths, The Marlowes and The Hawthornes. Hopefully their different personalities shine through. The Goldsmiths are my favourite😍
Picture 2) a very hair rock themed page lol. As soon as i seen this one i just knew that lil monkey had to be the cat man from Kiss🤣 had fun with the logos in this one
Picture 3) just a wizard of oz themed page. My favourite of the bunch is Glindas bubble it came out way better than i expected☺️
Picture 4) pahahaha this one is so funny i call it Commemoration of the Day of Firsts🤣 my oldest had his first day of school which is lovely but thats also the same day my neighbours phoned the police on me and i had the police at my door for the first time (i didnt do anything theyre just interfering neighbours)
Picture 5) this one was also fun to do because i used my coloured and tinted charcoals to do it. I love how they look and the big red chair couldnt have turned out better if i tried!
Picture 6) also done with my tinted and coloured charcoals, was my first attempt using them!
