Open Discussion People who race: what does giving it your all feel like?
I read a book by Lauren Fleshman called “Good For a Girl,” and the way she describes racing is like trying so hard you no longer can see color.
For those who have competitively raced, what does it feel like to try that hard and how do you know how hard to push before you throw up or pass out or something?
Two of my non competitive races have had me choking down vomit at the finish but afterwards I still feel like I could have done way more. Is that normal?
Thank you!
