Puffy jacket

Is this jacket meant to be real? It strikes me as a bit weird and exaggerated. Any thoughts?

It's a 2nd generation Rab Expedition Parka, which is designed and built for scaling 8000+ metre peaks. Anyone wearing one casually is a clown.

70 percent fleece lining, polythene coating technology for waterproofing, two sizes, too big and capoed off with blue piping on the sleeves. Classic and i might add...adventurous!

Alan’s wardrobe is consistently outstanding (-ly awful) but this big puffa is definitely my highlight of recent times.

Not sure it rivals ‘strolling pastel’ or ‘sports casual’ but it’s up there.

I've always suspected some of Alan's jackets are actually Steve's personal jackets

I believe one at the end of i think scissored isle kinda really made me feel it the most. after the apology bit. He goes outside and has this like red 80's monte carlo F1 jacket or something similar. I guess much more likely the partridge team picking them out as something Alan would wear though
