question about this

if anyone knows anything about this, i took a 25 mg librium 40 hours ago, nothing else, am i safe to drink 40 hours later?

Interaction wise, yeah I think you’re fine. Were you prescribed librium to detox?

yeah. but mostly for anxiety, i went to the hospital for what i thought was withdrawal, they told me it was anxiety and sent me home with 10 pills of it, i took only one and went to sleep and woke up completely fine.

Just don’t mix that stuff with alcohol and try not drinking if you’re up for it. You’ve got that on hand in case you do get real withdrawals.

Lots of folks around can give you pointers on the not drinking part. There are medications that can help with that.

i definitely won’t take another one, and thanks so much for not being mean. i just kept reading scary stuff about how u can die, but i have waited long enough without i think

I mean, you can die if you drink on that stuff. Most places actually don’t prescribe librium or other benzos for outpatient detox for precisely that reason. I had to do in-patient detox because of that.

So definitely do not drink on it.
