How do people make their room more “mature”?
I just redid my room for the first time since I moved in. My family moved into this house when I was little so of course I decided to paint it light pink. I redid my room by rearranging my furniture, hanging up posters and doing cool crafts to put on my walls. However, my family will not let me repaint my walls. Despite my more “mature” posters, my room still looks like a five year olds. How can I fix this?

Need help Interior Design!
Are there any good free tools/software I can use to design the interior of my newly built home?
I’ve already created the floor plans for each floor myself. Now I’m mainly looking for something with good-quality 3D rendering or even Isometric view and a decent catalog/library of furniture, materials, lighting, etc. so I can experiment with different interior designs.

I am in charge of furnishing my boss’s whole office (lobby, open space, everything) and I have to buy a desk for his main office and I am struggling I can’t find one that is nice and practical. The width of his office is around 93 inches and 123 inches in length. I attached a photo for reference on what I am looking to do
I know this doesn’t look like it would fit 93 inches but I just want a desk that spacious black can have room for his legs and look like an actually office ceos desk not just work from home desk
He wants to order his desk by today and I’m desperate and stressed 😩

Would you pay for a small-space room design service?
Hi! I'm working on a business concept for a school project and wanted to get some opinions from people who live in small spaces such as dorms, apartments, or condos.
The idea is a service where you send photos/measurements of your room, and someone creates a **basic layout, mood board, furniture/decoration recommendations, and a digital Photoshop mockup** of your room showing how you could organize and decorate the space.
Do you think this would actually be useful? Would you personally pay for something like this, or would you rather use Pinterest/YouTube/AI tools for inspiration and figure it out yourself?
Any honest feedback would really help!

Question I took your feedback and made a new restaurant design 👀
You guys gave me a lot of feedback on the last designs 😄 Some of you liked #1, some felt #2 looked more like a nightclub, and one comment really stood out to me — they said #3 made them feel like they had stepped into another world.
So I took all your feedback and made this new design. What do you think? 👀

Question Help me choose a theme for my restaurant — 1, 2 or 3?
I'm working on a luxury family restaurant concept and created three different interior themes.
- 1: Warm Beige
- 2: Black Marble
- 3: Green & Wood
I'm trying to decide which one feels the most premium, welcoming, and practical for a family restaurant.
Which theme would you choose and why?

Room layout
I am unsure of what furniture to put in this room. It is large, but mostly unusable space. There is a bar behind the brown chairs (no chairs)
I have taped off a 124”x124” sectional and 56” square table. Thinking a swivel chair where the white chair is and add a rug. What do you think? The entire room is off centered which drives me crazy.
Thanks!

Help me choose curtains for my color drenched room!
The first photo is the current state of our empty, freshly painted bedroom. I found a swatch that matches our walls perfectly (Pic 2. It's matches better in person than in the photo.) However, Pic 3 is a much lighter purple that I'm also considering. (Pics 4 and 5 are the website renderings).
I'm going for a moody bedroom but don't want it to be TOO dark. Our bed is also walnut. Our bedding is off white. Our rug is dark olive. Curtains hardware is antique brass (the Swoop rod from West Elm)
What do y'all think?? Match the walls or go for a lighter contrast??

Is my couch too big for my living room?
Just got it today and didn’t realise just how big it’d be lol. It’s soooo comfy but had no idea it would be this tall. Unfortunately we can’t mount the tv or anything like that

Interior Contemporary Bedroom Interior | SketchUp + D5 Render
galleryHey everyone! Sharing a bedroom project I recently designed and visualized.
I wanted to play around with the contrast between the traditional damask wallpaper and more contemporary elements like the walnut joinery, rounded furniture, and built-in cabinetry. The main goal was to keep the room warm and comfortable without making it feel too traditional.
I worked on the interior design, material palette, furniture and built-in elements, and then brought everything together in 3D using SketchUp + D5 Render. And for mood board I have used chatgpt go.
Would love to hear what you think — especially about the material choices, composition, and overall feel of the room. Always happy to get some honest feedback and see what I could improve.
I’m currently open to architectural and interior 3D design and visualization commissions.Dm for more
Thanks for taking a look!
