Downloading google play

I’ve tried using the options in the link in the instructions on androidpolice.com and I can’t seem to find the google play app apk downloader for the HD 10 7th generation 5.7.1.0 version. It’s a very old tablet so I’m not even sure I can find one, but the rest of the apks download fine. If anyone has find a way to do this

If you figure it out OP Pls share what worked.

I tried to do it on my boys fire tablet and couldn’t do it. Very frustrating to go through the process 2-3 times, and it doesn’t work, and you don’t know why.

The guides I followed had like 4 different app you needed to download and install in a certain order….

or simply install f-droid where you will find lots of open source apps. There will will find also Auroraoss open source store that takes apps from google play store. install from there what you need (if you can avoid google play services type of apps like chrome, gmail etc). for web browser find FFUpdater in F-droid store. you can install any browser just not chrome. it will self update
