Is this normal?

I have gotten surgery for a tooth, and they put me under anesthesia yesterday. ever since then, all songs seem pitched down. Like I hear them that way. Am I tripping? Is it my phone? Has anyone else experienced this?

Not from anesthesia at this time point. Maybe from pain meds you're taking. Maybe could be an effect from swelling around the eustachian tube or mastoid area.

This is kind of similar to what I had when I had my gallbladder removed a couple years ago. Everything was just so freaking loud, I was trying to listen to music and everything sounded off key. It was the opposite. Like it wasn't pitched down but more like pitched up. Like trying to listen to music couple of days after surgery was a bit strange and a bit trippy but not in a good way especially if you're trying to listen to music that you like. But then on the third day my brain just kind of reset it itself after everything and things just started subbing normal again. Now it could've been the anesthesia I was given, because some of the pain meds I've taken and don't do that to me which is really weird. Sometimes this will happen when I've taken melatonin but it only lasts about an hour.
