With the recent announcement that School Days (the visual novel) would be getting a dub, I figured I should go back to one of the classics (at least in the visual novel space, most people don’t care as much about the anime adaptation minus the “kiss and turn” meme) and do a fancast for White Album 2. Overall really hope that School Days is the start of a trend, more games and their anime adaptations deserve it. (Side Note: I won’t make a School Days fancast ever, since it would basically just be the game cast again).

I will probably end up watching both, however from a Google search I found out that they are both sick the same story. Adapted from the light novel but the 2024 adaptation is better animation supposedly. Do you recommend that I watch both? Is it recommended? I watch the original from 2008 and then the remake from 2024?

Have I been duped? Are they not the same story?

Apparently S3 E1 of The 100 Girlfriends who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You has recently undergone dialogue change. Originally in both the sub and dub, Naddy says how wrangling a bronco was “her own personal 9/11”. Now the dub has her saying “like a roadrunner stuck in F35” while the sub has her say “It was my own personal catastrophe” instead.

Now naturally some people are saying this is an example of censorship and Crunchyroll trying not to offend people while others say this change is more in line with the original Japanese translation.

Now personally I’m having a hard time believing it was changed because it offended people because I didn’t hear or see anyone have issue with the line. So naturally I’m curious what that led to this change seeing how dialogue changes in the dub after release are pretty rare.

So I saw season 14 voyage 11 available for preorder on amazon but was waiting to order. I went to order it today but it isn’t listed anymore. I tried googling it and it’s not listed anywhere that it was ever up for preorder at all. Am I going crazy? Because I swear I saw it, because it’s what prompted me to order voyage 10.

Congrats to Kira and Gabriel for getting the lead roles. As a diehard Kira Vincent-davis fan, I'm gonna bust.
