Guys, this is insane. I emailed Staple Entertainment about the 40% skipped manga content, and they just emailed me back manually.
They confessed that they WANTED to adapt the whole manga but faced heavy budget/episode cuts from the corporate bosses. They fought to turn a 24-episode slot into 26 episodes with "tears in their eyes" to give us an ending.
They told me that if we want an OVA or Movie to fix the cuts, we need to target NBCUniversal Japan directly, because they hold the budget!
